My dad and I got blocked in at this McDonalds, parking for a Cubs game we attended in 1989. As a creature of the Astrodome, I didn’t understand city stadiums and how it was possible that we couldn’t just leave. We took a nap waiting for enough cars to leave so we could get out.

@Gaardsy @GopherWBB This is where MSP’s remoteness is an issue. What possible high seed can be put in Minneapolis? Probably won’t be the Gophers, could be Iowa, Iowa State, or Wisconsin if they have a good enough season. Beyond that? Do they send Michigan? Kansas (Omaha is more likely)?

@aaron_renn @howertonjosh But is the friction in the experiences you are comparing the same? The 2,000 in Ohio are engaging in months of study, successive scrutinies, and generally committing a lot more time than required of an evangelical conversion, unless I am mistaken.

Having watched this a few hundred times, what killed Boozer here was the drop-dribble before the pass. If he just pivots and whips it ahead, it's over. He bought Demary time to close for no purpose.

@aaron_renn Fort Wayne needs to continue to promote quality infill development, rather than relying on sprawl.
For some reason, a quarry and concrete plant has been proposed near the heart of the "favored quarter" SW Allen Co. area. This would be a huge misstep.
