god is real, the future will be even better than the past, you still have time to get abs by summer, your future wife is dreaming about you every day, a couple beers is not a sin, you have disposable income to buy a new outfit that you love, coffee is waiting for you tomorrow

@bqbrady Quite fun. Lots of different strategies to think about it and try. Would you take suggestions for challenges? The design of this had my head spinning with possibilities...

How to win the pen challenge The first thing to note is that this challenge has a serious flaw. There is too much variance run to run on scores. A pitch can score $95 on one run and then $45 on the next with little to no change in the prompt This means the optimal strategy becomes finding a compelling prompt with a lot of upside and running it many times to try to get lucky Early Strategies When I launched this on Sunday afternoon I was scoring the submissions with 15 characters played by Haiku 4.5. After some testing I determined that Haiku was hard to trick. You could not get away with pretending the inside of the pen was pure gold or that the pen was a remote control for a Ferrari However, throughout the day people realized that certain lies would sneak through occasionally. The most clever was @b0ggs2 who scored over $1000 by pretending that there were $100k bearer bonds rolled up inside the pens. Others were more similar to this "No. 7 of 200. A Swiss watchmaker's final work—3 years, handmade. Praised by artists & writers. No. 42 sold for $475. No more will be made." Rescoring Later Sunday I decided that these submissions were scoring unrealistically high. I switched the rules so that every score over $100 would get rescored by Sonnet 4.6. As it turns out, Sonnet was much too skeptical and almost all these exploits disappeared. Since then, the top scores have converged on extremely specific and detailed language about the pen that does not deviate too far into hyperbole and thus triggers Sonnet to rescore much lower. The only person to successfully crack $100 under this new regime is @jimistgeil with two prompts of this variety "Pre-Owned Montblanc Minimalist Refillable Pen. Carbon fiber (body) and 24K gold (trim). Montblanc Certified. Original retail value $1299." (Many people tried to pretend the pen was Montblanc with varying levels of success.) Some of my other favorites "Pelikan Souvern M1000. 18K gold nib." - @markus_ "Hand-finished in Kyoto. Black urushi resin, 18k gold nib. One of 12 made this year. 11 collectors competing." - @_brick___ "Pilot Custom 823 gift set. 14K gold nib, lacquer barrel. Refillable. Japanese craftsmanship. Appraised $450. Selling for $180" - @punter_punts "Montblanc. Free custom engraving. Refillable and eco-friendly. Swiss-tuned precision. 25% of proceeds go to environmental charities. $150." - @danrobinson The competition is still open, see if you can take these ideas and break above $100

I just had Claude Code build me a Facebook ad generator that can make 100+ on-brand ad variations in minutes for $0. And I made a full Notion document guide for you. It includes: 1. How to use Claude to find the pain points and desired outcomes of your ICP 2. How to use these pain points and outcomes to write ad copy variations 3. How to build a Facebook ad template entirely with code (just like the ones you see) 4. How focus Claude Code’s design so the ad feels “on-brand” 5. How to export the Facebook ads as PNGs in a zip file 6. How to bulk upload them to a Facebook ad set 7. How to use an AI data analyst to track the success of these ads Everything above is just API calls and Claude Code doing the work for you. You just come up with the ideas and polish the outputs. Like and comment "generator" and I'll send the Notion document to you
