🚨🎙️ Wayne Rooney on Kobbie Mainoo’s performance vs Brentford: “He might not be the fastest midfielder, but he’s the calmest I’ve seen at that age. I haven’t seen a performance like that in a Manchester United shirt since Paul Scholes. He’s proven that you don't need to be the quickest with your legs when you're the quickest with your brain." you have to look at where he was just a few months ago and ask what on earth was going on. I’ll be blunt: I think the way Ruben Amorim handled him was a joke. You don't discard a generational talent just because he doesn't fit a specific blueprint you brought from Lisbon! I’m just glad Michael is there to pick up the pieces. He’s given Kobbie the keys, told him to go out there and dictate, and look at the results. He controlling moments of the game like someone who’s been doing it for 10 years. That doesn’t come from nowhere. That comes from confidence.

Yoweri K Museveni

I always call Muhoozi, Muogi. It is because our neighbour in Upanga, Dar-es-Salaam, was Mzee Tito Okello (Gen). Being a traditional Acholi, he had a problem with pronouncing the “z” in Muhoozi’s name. Hence, the Muogi and Maama Janet also became Maama Muogi. Tito’s wife was safely Maama Jennifer because we had no problem pronouncing Jennifer, the sister of Okello Oryem. Unfortunately, Jennifer died some years ago. Signed: Yoweri K. Museveni Ampa (Grandpa)
Yoweri K Museveni@KagutaMuseveni

Greetings fellow Ugandans, fellow Africans and especially, the Bazzukulu.   I am sending out this message to, first of all, thank God for giving Maama and myself our wonderful children: Muhoozi (Muogi), Natasha (Kukuru), Patience (Pusi) and Kyaremeera (Kyinini)., protecting them and prospering them.  Secondly, I want to thank Maama for looking after them especially for the years 1981-86 when she was the only parent near them. Thirdly, I salute the children for going through the school systems and branching out successfully in the different fields of life – family, career, etc. Fourthly, I thank the Ugandans and some of the Africans for standing with and supporting our family and Political movement in the various endeavours we have been undertaking with them. On this occasion, on the 24th of April 2026, I want to congratulate Gen. Muhoozi (Muogi) on this 52nd birthday. These children, in particular Muhoozi, were born in the resistance, grew up in the resistance, and, in various ways, have made significant contribution to the resistance. Gen. Muhoozi has made significant contribution to fighting corruption in the Army and increasing the lethality of the UPDF.

Men are not "intimidated" by your degree, your corporate job, your tax bracket, or your fierce independence. They genuinely do not care about your resume. What modern women call "intimidation" is actually just a man walking away because your combative energy, constant need to argue, and refusal to yield is completely exhausting. You aren't intimidating; you are just insufferable to come home to.

UgandaVsMollyKatanga This morning, Mrs Molly Katanga faces her accusers in what promises to be a make or break cross examination for the prosecution. They’ve jailed her for more than 2 years, they’ve accused her of the most heinous of crimes; she insists she didn’t do it. They now get a chance to go eyeball to eyeball; under oath. Time: 9:30 am Location: The High Court of Uganda-Criminal Division

UgandaVsMollyKatanga: Mrs Molly Katanga opens her defense with Defiance, Grit and Bravery. Yesterday, 26th March 2026 was the day Justice Rosette Comfort Kania set for Mrs Molly Katanga and her 4 co-accused to start their defense in a murder case that’s now past the 2 year mark. At just past 10:30 am, Henry Katanga’s widow physically made it into a packed courtroom, was helped into the witness stand by two prisons staff, faced her accusers and told them she didn’t do it and in fact, she was a victim of grievous domestic violence at the hands of her deceased husband who took his own life. It was the first time in nearly two years that the matriarch of the Katanga household physically made it to court; having appeared via video link from Luzira prison throughout the entirety of the prosecution’s case. It was exactly one month past the date that Justice Rosette Kania invited Mrs Katanga to defend herself and explain to court how her husband died, how she ended up with GSR on her, her DNA on the gun, who opened the bedroom door etc. Led by Peter Kabatsi, SC, Mrs Katanga told court about the events that transpired in the lead up to the death of her husband -of 32 years-by a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head, on the morning of 2 Nov 2023. She called their marriage a “normal marriage” and her late husband with whom they had 4 children “an introvert”, “a quiet man”, “a gentleman”. She told court that on 1 Nov 2023, she got home from work after 5pm, went for her usual walk up Mbuya hill, got back, took a shower, joined their youngest son who was doing his homework, fed him then he went to bed at around 7 pm. Her husband came home between 7:30 and 8 pm. He told her about his money lending business struggles; a business that she says was the source of stress to him because his clients weren’t paying him back as they should. She named the late “Aponye” who she said died with his debt of about UGX 1.5 Billion. She called him a friend of the family for more than 20 years and that his death threw her late husband in an emotional tailspin. She told court that she assured him the company would pay and that while Henry and “Aponye” often dealt without need for written agreements, upon his death, agreements recognizing the debt were drawn up with his company. She told court that Henry repeatedly told her he was depressed. She said she encouraged him to see their family Doctor, a one Dr Karuhanga whose practice is on Uganda House in Kampala. He saw the Doctor who wrote him a prescription but he refused to fill said script, instead saying this was business stress that would eventually pass. On the evening of 1 Nov 2023 when Mr Katanga returned home, they sat in the upper sitting room, adjacent to their bedroom. He kept telling her he was stressed. She encouraged him to calm down. After a while, she left him and went to the prayer room to pray. It took an hour. She returned, tapped him goodnight and went to bed. He later joined her in bed, she said, but that he didn’t sleep much. At 6am on the fateful morning, she woke up and went to the bathroom. She was brushing her teeth when Henry entered the bathroom and started beating her. She tried to hide under the sink. He yanked her away from the sink; it broke. He slammed her head on the door leading back to the bedroom, hit her head on the door handle. He was beating her with a baton. He dragged her to the bedroom and continued beating her. She was screaming for help. After a while, the beating stopped. He called her name “Molly, Molly, stand up”. She couldn’t stand up. He then went and opened the door, came back and told her he was going to kill himself. She heard a loud bang, thought he had shot her. Then silence. She crawled to the door, leaned on it and opened it using her elbow. She crawled to the other room, the skin of her head hanging on the sides. Her head had been cut open due to the beatings. She said she didn’t know where Henry was after the blast. Cont’d..

Sad and heartbreaking update; The Kenyan student who went missing in the UK, Edna Mmbali Ombakho, has been found. Sadly, her body was discovered in a river on March 8, 2026. Edna, 31, was pursuing her MSc at York St John University (London campus) and lived in Wraysbury, Berkshire. She was last seen on February 1 after heading out for a walk, something so ordinary that her sudden silence worried everyone. She always stayed in close touch with her family in Kitale, so when the calls stopped, her loved ones knew something wasn't right. The family raised the alarm, and with support from HAKI Africa, the Kenyan diaspora, the Kenya High Commission, and Thames Valley Police, searches and appeals went out widely. Everyone held onto hope for weeks. Now the news has come, and it's devastating. No official cause of death has been released yet, and police continue their investigation. This has left her family, friends, and the whole community in deep grief. May She RIP

If any other country does this, it’s a war crime and the US will be sanctioning their military leaders and calling for them to be dragged to The Hague for war crimes. But it’s Pete Hegseth and the US Navy so it’s all fair in peace and war. To cheap shot a vessel that’s not in combat, in international waters no less and then leave all the sailors to drown just so you can brag about it on X for likes is a different level of moral depravity.
