As I look ahead, I am filled with foreboding. Like the Roman, I seem to see the River Tiber foaming with much blood. 🍁🇬🇧🇿🇦

@Mattxduchak @BruceAHeyman You think the 2/3 of Canadians with post-secondary credentials understand how things work? You think they have a clue about the economy or politics? Or anything… at all?

@_coolredacted @BruceAHeyman That 1/3 of Canadians don’t understand how things outside of their area of expertise work. I grew up in trades spent a decade in the patch. The majority, including myself at the time didn’t have a fucking clue about the economy or politics or anything else.

After 126 weeks and 10,000 hours of support, VicPD is asking that protestors peacefully conclude the marching portion of their weekly Palestine demonstrations, due to the unsustainable strain on our officers. We strongly encourage organizers and participants to remain on the Legislature lawn, where the environment is safer and more controlled. @CBR It’s hilarious that you started off with a point that fans of both the books and movies often discuss (the events/characters that were omitted from the films) before diving into the true purpose of your article (woke nonsense). Trash article written by a gay orc.

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X: We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language. While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform. We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

If Iran attacked a girls' school in the USA and killed 160+, we would call that terrorism, right? 🤔

@Francis83458401 @sirDukeDevin @SHOPGod2 Well it dismisses the argument of the original poster. The US didn’t “attack” a girls school. They attacked the IRGC and happened to hit a girls school. Regrettable, but a massive difference. Terrorism implies intent.

That Air Canada plane at LGA was *exactly* like 9/11… Except for all the other stuff. Like the AC plane had no fuel, was landing, and had full thrust reversers going upon landing… But ya. They are the same. Retards.

@John61926629 @sirDukeDevin @SHOPGod2 But they can’t do that to us. *They* murdered between 10-40 thousand of their own people for protesting against the government. The US has strictly targeted military targets, including missiles. Do you hate your own country?

@_coolredacted @sirDukeDevin @SHOPGod2 We attacked without warning. No notice to civilians to clear the area. First day of the work week. We did not target missiles. If they did that to us, civilians would be killed because they are there working. We would call them cowards and terrorists. Wrong is wrong.

@IamR0galD0rn Ya. I already voiced my opinion on this elsewhere. I feel bad for her. This dude tried to frame his own “holiness” by tearing his woman down. “My wife was shit but I married her, so *I* am good person.” Disgusting.

@_coolredacted Lots of others pointed something out and I am minding my own business about it, as well as her redemption. But framing her redemption as holier than not-sinning is just crazy man.

I'm going to get a nose bleed contemplating how 'She's more pure than most virgins...' isn't intentionally written as a stumbling block, or from sheer ignorance of the obligation of a testimonial to not diminish virtuous observance of God's laws...
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

@sirDukeDevin @SHOPGod2 If you had ever put a pair of pants on, you would know how the people in the targeting chain feel. But you haven’t. You’re a Calgary pansy who thinks a “uniform” is the suit you wear once a month for a meeting. I’d call you a pussy, but you already know.

@sirDukeDevin @SHOPGod2 There’s a massive difference. The US military decided to strike an IRGC base. Lost in all of the intelligence was the fact that part of that location had become a girls school. DIA and CENTCOM are equally responsible, but there was no intent. Which is why people are upset.
