Hi, my name is Dr. Henry Eze. I am helping to raise funds for a child who needs urgent open-heart surgery. She was born with multiple congenital heart defects. There are several holes in her heart that cause abnormal blood flow, blood that should be separated is mixing. These holes cause oxygen-poor blood to mix with oxygen-rich blood. They also cause leaking and pooling of blood, increasing pressure in her lungs. As a result, her body does not receive the oxygen it needs. Her heart is forced to work far harder than it should, and her lungs are under constant strain. This is not something a child outgrows. Without surgery, the heart progressively weakens, infections become more frequent, irreversible lung damage develops, and there is a real and increasing risk to her life. The plan is to perform corrective surgery to close these holes, giving her a chance at a normal life. This surgery will be carried out in India. We need £10,000 to make this possible. To preserve the dignity and privacy of the child and her family, some materials are not posted publicly with this message. Full details are available via the donation links below, and additional documentation can be provided on request. The family is personally known to me, and I have their full consent to organise this support. Please do not look away. If you cannot donate, your sharing may be what allows this to reach someone who can. We need both your donations and your social capital. Thank you. In 1992, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was serving as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Nigeria. During that period, he brought along a 29-year-old young man who had worked under him in the Water Resources Department during the 1980s, and appointed him as his Personal Assistant (P.A). In 1999, after Kwankwaso had continued his political struggle since 1992, that same young man had returned to work in the Water Resources sector. Unexpectedly, Kwankwaso won the governorship election in Kano State, and once again he sought out the young man and reappointed him as his P.A, this time as the Personal Assistant to the Governor. In 2003, after Kwankwaso lost his re-election bid, the Federal Government appointed him as Nigeria’s Minister of Defence. Kwankwaso still did not abandon the young man; instead, he took him along to Abuja and appointed him as his Special Assistant (S.A). In 2007, after Kwankwaso left the Ministry of Defence, Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him as Special Envoy to Somalia and Darfur. Again, Kwankwaso continued to move with the young man as his close aide and trusted right-hand man. In 2009, under the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Umaru Musa Yar'Adua appointed Kwankwaso as the representative of the North-West region. Kwankwaso once again continued working closely with the young man as his right-hand man. In that same year, Kwankwaso secured a federal appointment for him, and fortunately, the late Yar’Adua appointed him as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Ondo State. In 2011, Kwankwaso returned and became Governor of Kano State for the second time. Once again, he brought back the young man and handed him the position of Commissioner in one of the major ministries. In 2019, after Kwankwaso completed his tenure as governor in 2015, the young man had stepped back from politics until 2018, when Kwankwaso brought him forward again and declared that he would contest for governor under the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This decision caused Kwankwaso to lose some allies and supporters, as many believed he had chosen someone who was not experienced or capable enough. The election was conducted, victory was initially declared, then it was announced as inconclusive, and eventually Abdullahi Umar Ganduje retained his seat. In 2023, Kwankwaso once again brought forward the same young man and insisted that he would be the candidate. Due to the lack of a solid political structure within the PDP to support him, Kwankwaso left the party and joined a relatively small and lesser-known party called the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), together with his supporters. He once again ensured that the young man secured the ticket. The election was held, victory was achieved, and the young man eventually became the Governor of Kano State. History can be inspiring to hear. However, sadly, after this young man became governor, within just two years the story began to take a different and unpleasant turn from the end of 2025 into 2026.

Peter Obi is someone who definitely reads the instruction manual for any new appliance before he starts using it and will keep the receipt and warranty should in case his children need it. The man is just too detailed. He’d make such a fine leader.

Keeping it a buck, Peter Obi has done his part; over 3 years he’s sustained his ‘opposition momentum’, has zero scandals & has kept his promise of appearing on the ballot. The onus is now on us. We must not only vote en masse but protect those votes with blood, sweat & tears.

A Nation Losing Its HUMANITY. Some events shatter a society so deeply that words are no longer enough to express the shock; the brutal killing of a teacher and the horrific rape and murder of an elderly woman are among such tragedies. These are not isolated incidents but signs of deeper moral and social decay. How did we get here? How did we reach a point where teachers are hunted and killed, and the elderly—custodians of memory and wisdom—suffer such dehumanising violence? This is more than a security crisis; it is a failure of collective humanity. We have become desensitised, consuming tragedy briefly and moving on, allowing indifference to normalise the unacceptable. To the families affected, I share in your grief. But grief alone is not enough. We must demand accountability and urgent systemic change. If such atrocities no longer move us to action, then we risk losing our shared humanity. -PO

Our Engagement with General Abacha: Setting the Record Straight In consonance with my established principles of defending everything I am involved in, and in the interest of all men and women of goodwill, especially those committed to the pursuit of truth, I hereby attach the letter which documents my co-opting, along with others, into the Taskforce on the decongestion of the Ports. As I stated during my interview at the weekend and consistently maintained in the past, I had never met General Sani Abacha before that encounter. Our meeting with him was borne out of collective concern as traders and importers over the prolonged delays in clearing goods at the ports. We approached him not as political actors, but as concerned citizens seeking pragmatic solutions to a matter affecting economic activity and livelihoods. Our intention was clear: to advocate for efficiency, and to propose practical steps towards restoring normalcy in port operations for the benefit of the wider business community and, ultimately, the Nigerian economy. This clarification is offered in the interest of truth, to reaffirm that our actions were driven solely by a sense of civic duty and not political ambition. I don't expect this copious evidence to bury this Abacha case because the mischief makers have ulterior motives, but it's being placed in the public space for posterity and in line with my transparency pledge to Nigerians on any issue I am involved in. -PO
