@mikepantile This is nice and all, but 'don't just date/marry someone for their looks' is hardly novel, profound, unprecedented advice

Nick Shirley finds a healthcare clinic that received $5.5 million dollars from taxpayers in 2025 They claimed to served 348 people in one day When asked about it they can’t give any answers, start demanding he can’t film and want his ID The average doctor can only see about 20-30 patients max per day, that’s all that time would allow for So at 348 patients per day, this clinic would be about 14 full time physicians working For reference, this would be like a high volume urgent care working with extended hours in a major city, it’s impossible for this clinic. They would need about 50-100 staff members to handle this amount of patients This is so very clearly fraud

Libs play a game I call "How Much Pain Can I Tolerate?" where they think, it's just chess pieces. Trivial to replace. Costs basically nothing. No big deal. Why would I put someone in jail for stealing them, are you insane? How selfish can you be? I can easily tolerate the pain of having to replace chess pieces for a couple of bucks every once in a while. My 1 point of discomfort for tolerating the behavior easily outweighs by the 9999 points of discomfort that punishing the behavior would generate. You want me to put some kid in jail over a couple hunks of plastic? Why would I arrest a guy for buying a banana with counterfeit money? Why would I chase someone down for Skittles and an Arizona Iced Tea? Why would I disrupt the houseless schizo shooting up and jacking off on the subway, it doesn't really affect me. It's easy to ignore. These people are already suffering. But the chess pieces keep getting stolen. Old chess guys stop using the park. Rowdy teenagers take over. Moms stop bringing their kids. The park fills up with crackheads. You see this phenomenon everywhere you look. Libs let petty crime slide because they think "I can take it." And maybe they can. But every time they do this, they add a little bit of pointless friction to every day life. A sliver of pain, a cost that adds up and up. Now your Rite Aid shampoo is locked up. Now the shop has to hire a security guard (and raises prices accordingly). Now there's needles under the jungle gym. Now there's no old people on the corner keeping an eye on things. Now your kid can't run to the corner store after dark. Now your wife gets catcalled on her way home from work. Now there's loud reggaeton playing all the time. Life gets a little shittier and shittier. But hey, you can tolerate it. No big deal.

@Father_TimeLine @bluewmist This. Why doesn’t this person LIKE hearing the other person’s similar stories to what they’re talking about? This is generally my favorite kind of response.

Did you learn that one in college. People bond over shared experiences. I am not your therapist, so If I am polite enough to listen to whatever you have to say, then you should to listen to my response, or walk away. Then we both learn that you just use others to make yourself feel better.

This isn’t ironic at all. It’s 1M lib ppl watching, less than 1/3 of one percent of the country. Jon Stewart has also completely lost the ability to make fun of his own, and lack of objectivity does not make for hilarity. All these shows just appeal to liberals, and I doubt they’re really laughing, just bitterly short-chuckling.

The Lindsey Graham Twitter death dynamic has been completely turned upside down and different from the past. There's a sense of humor here about it on the online TwitterX right. There are memes, people posting jokes. Meanwhile like the Substack BlueSky Lincoln project DSA Steve Schmidt left types are like fuck that secret transgender sellout faggot. He picked up Mars Attacks aliens in his limousine And the reaction is still., so what? He was hilarious.

SNL had no issue mocking Clinton and his admin during the 90s. Everything changed when Obama came on the scene. Suddenly comedy directed at Democrats was off-limits. SNL had the perfect target in Biden and they left him alone because Democrats can no longer take a joke

People can argue over electoral polls or elections or candidates all they want but the biggest thing that the political left lost was their sense of humor.

This is misogynistic bullying. I asked someone else who commented with a photo of the author to delete their comment, and I am grateful they did so. I respectfully ask that you delete yours also. We are debating the author’s writing; the contents of her words, not how she looks. This type of discourse is why it is becoming increasingly difficult to be a woman with opinions online.

What I find interesting in this piece is that the author makes a moral argument against the politics of Little House on the Prairie while simultaneously admitting she felt a sadistic level of ‘justice’ in a character going blind because she is pretty.

Many people are really not used to inclines or stairs at all. Taking stairs regularly is a huge way to improve your health and fitness. It’s part of why I chose a house with two stories and no bedrooms on the ground floor, and choose paths with stairs and inclines on my daily walk! It’s easy to choose stairs, or even just walk up the escalator instead of standing there. It adds up. I think I have this habit to thank for my fitness agility/flexibility in handling random challenges. Walking at a quicker clip helps too.

@DanBurmawy It was literally never “the norm” to marry 6 year olds and rape 9 year olds, though. Sexually abused girls are more likely to start menarche early, and girls then started LATER, not earlier, than they do now. 9 is years younger than average even now, let alone then.

When people leave Islam and are asked why, they usually talk about the violence, the treatment of women, Muhammad’s marriages.  All of it is true, and any one of these is reason enough to walk away from Islam.  But if you ask me what finally broke my faith twenty years ago, I wouldn’t point to any of these. In fact, I don’t condemn Muhammad and his companions for living the life that was the norm in their time, if anything, I condemn the sanctification of that life, and its transmission down through the ages as religion. It wasn’t any of these that made me throw the Quran, literally, into the garbage in my parents’ house that night. It was something called the occasions of revelation.  Read this article and pass it along to a Muslim friend. I can't really see how anyone stays a Muslim after reading it. Link in the comments.

Today in Munich, a German court sentenced Kurdish Muslim ISIS member Twana to life in prison. His ex-wife Asia got 9.5 years. They bought two Yazidi girls, one only 5 years old, as slaves in Mosul. Twana repeatedly raped them while Asia helped prepare the assaults, beat the girls, scalded one with boiling water, forced them to work like slaves, and tried to erase their Yazidi faith before handing them to other ISIS fighters. Justice for the Yazidis.

This is the Oxyrhynchus Hymn, dated to the late 200s AD. It is the earliest known Christian hymn manuscript with both lyrics and musical notation. A plain English rendering of the surviving words: “Let all creation be silent. Let the shining stars be still. Let the rushing winds and rivers cease. While we sing to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, let every power answer: Amen, amen. Strength, praise, and glory forever to God, the only giver of all good things. Amen, amen.”

Our most crucial national-security imperative is deporting Muslims. Centuries of history and teachings prove their goal is to destroy western civilization. We cannot allow Muslims to reach a critical mass in America, like they have in the future Islamic Republic of Britain.
