So let me get this straight RFK jr wants to ban antidepressants, make it easier for children to get access to tanning beds and is about to put flavored vapes back on the market. Also, he’s anti-VAX and he did nothing about roundup?

@MollyJongFast Compare to Dems supporting, promoting in fact, children cutting off their body parts saying they can change their gender this way and pretending it’s perfectly normal. Tanning beds and vapes are the least of worries. At least parents can restrict either w/o going to jail.

Hey Grok, tell me about the funding cuts to Medicaid under the Big Beautiful Bill? Grok: “The “Big Beautiful Bill” (formally the One Big Beautiful Bill Act or OBBBA, H.R. 1, signed July 4, 2025) includes substantial Medicaid cuts. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and analyses from KFF, Urban Institute, and others estimate $840–$911 billion in federal Medicaid spending reductions over 10 years (through ~2034–2035). This is achieved via: • New work/community engagement requirements for many adults (ages 19–64), projected to reduce enrollment and spending significantly. • Stricter eligibility verification, increased paperwork/redeterminations, and other administrative barriers. • Limits on states’ use of provider taxes and certain payments to finance their share of Medicaid. • Ending enhanced federal matching funds for new Medicaid expansions and other financing changes. These are projected to result in millions losing coverage (CBO estimates ~7.8–10+ million fewer enrollees by 2034 from Medicaid provisions alone). It also includes some offsets like a $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Fund, but this does not fully counteract the overall reductions. The bill used these savings partly to help offset tax cut extensions and other priorities.“ Me again: Sounds like the cuts come from making Medicaid fraud more difficult. Win/win.

Rep. Derrick Van Orden: "Citizens have the right to peacefully protest, I just wish they knew what they were talking about. There have been no cuts to Medicaid or Medicare." (He's lying -- the "Big Beautiful Bill" cut $1 trillion from Medicaid.)

@atrupar Dude. OVER A DECADE. And it was an ESTIMATE the CBO did stating $900 million (over a decade) by implementing work requirements, etc. Of course, the fraud that's being discovered more than handles that. Did you fun money go away? You sound cranky.

@atrupar Yes, the legislative proposal known as the "One Big Beautiful Bill" (or OBBB) seeks to end taxpayer-funded health benefits for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Deceit is all your side has.

.@JDVance EV tax credits are about jobs in Lordstown and Warren Ohio. Repealing them did not just hurt the Sierra Club. It hurt blue collar workers in your home state, some who came home after they had been laid off from GM in 2019. How about policy beyond owning the libs?

Virtually all modern technology America operates on today was created prior to the age of billionaires. The computer, the internet, AI, the semiconductor, plastics, software, et al. These guys just captured the value politically, they didn't create much at all.

@smatthewbreeden @kirk_bado The ruling wasn’t about the maps specifically. It was regarding some issue related to the process of getting the maps approved. Horribly stupid ruling.

@kirk_bado Dems will have an 11-0 one next year. Just need to fix the flaws and have the legislature pass again, then the new legislature do it again next year.

Brutal last 10 days for Dems in redistricting: - Callais decision significantly weakens VRA, opening the door for more redraws - TN Republicans pass 9-0 congressional map - LA on track to eliminate at least 1 Dem seat - VA Supreme Court overturns Dems' 10-1 map

Now you see why it was so important for Letitia James to sue Trump on rediculous charges. From now on, every argument is met with "yeah, he is a convicted felon..." Rediculous lawfare. Find me a realtor that doesn't inflate the prices of their listings/assets they are trying to sell... that is literally what he was charged with... silly.

I haven't seen anyone tracking all of the alleged (or open) Trump corruption, self-dealing, and quid pro quos in one place. For the last 15 months, I've been tracking every single tip+story I can find and organizing it. Today, I published a 6,000 word piece with every example.

@davidsirota I’m a special education teacher and 75 % of my students on my caseload scored proficient in math. But don’t ask how I did it, I’d be fired (ok, I pulled them from class and taught math in a small group and didn’t follow the dictated curriculum).

The fact that people try to shoot Trump or any politician is not evidence that they stand for anything of value. Voters fell under the spell of a bizarre hypnotism in 2024 following Butler and now we’re enduring the consequences.
