We have some friends in Park Slope and I noticed that they dialed down a lot of the lib stuff when that guy was running wild in Prospect Park bludgeoning dogs to death. (He was a big guy and he had a big metal pole or something like that and his thing was killing pet dogs with it. My friends specifically said they found his behavior very upsetting and that it caused them anxiety and I guess it really took a lot the joy out of the anti-police LARP.) Anyways, I’m glad that the denizens of Park Slope now have a cause that’s much more abstract and much less consequential that they can get excited about. Where you get your hummus or olives from or whatever is very low stakes and has a very low probability of intruding on your life in a meaningful way. Maybe libs have learned a lesson and have figured out that it’s better to act crazily about things that don’t really matter because it’s unlikely there will be any real consequences resulting in you being called to account or having to walk things back.

Firm believer that you don't need these many perfumes in your cabinet. Stick to a budget you can maintain + notes that melt on your skin, not clash on it. There's nothing wrong with having a small collection as long as your choices are built from criteria, not hype.
