🚁 EHang and Wanyi Tianxia Complete First Long-Range Cargo UAV Flight Route in the Greater Bay Area! 🚁 EHang, in partnership with Wanyi Tianxia, has successfully completed the first long-range intercity UAV cargo flight route in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with the VT20 series logistics eVTOL flying a full round trip between Tangjiagang Port in Zhuhai and Suigang Port in Guangzhou. The one-way 83 km flight took just 55 minutes, saving over an hour compared to peak-hour road transport. At the 2025 Wanshan Archipelago Low-Altitude Integrated Application Conference, the VT20 eVTOL took off from Tangjiagang UAV Logistics Hub in Zhuhai, delivering fresh seafood across Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Guangzhou before landing at Suigang Port. On the return trip, it carried medical test samples from Yunkang Da’an Laboratory back to Zhuhai — a real-world demonstration of the feasibility, safety, and efficiency of long-range UAV logistics in urban settings. Since the formation of their joint venture, EHang, Zhuhai Wanshan Development Group, and Feixing Tianxia have jointly developed the “Tangjiagang Port Model”—a regional low-altitude logistics system. The VT20 series has safely operated for over a year across the Wanshan Archipelago, gradually building a full “land-to-island and inter-island” UAV logistics network.
