I like the fact that you can contest or appeal any ticket in the UK, if you have a reasonable excuse, or even if it’s not that reasonable, they’ll listen.
My colleague got fined £100 for not paying for parking, if he pays the fine within 14 days, it’s £60.
He told them he forgot, and showed them his history of parking in that place, how he’s never failed to pay for parking, that he honestly forgot.
Guess what, they reduced it to £20.
