If you've ever been to a community writing group and had to listen to a 60 year old woman talk about her memoir of rape and childhood abuse you'll realize some of the worst writing is a byproduct of trauma. People mistake pain for profundity all the time, and write these tragedy porn pieces that convey nothing but "I suffered."

This is really a classic book. "101 BASIC computer games" copyright 1973 Digital Equipment (DEC). Each game has a description page with a cool illustration, the type-in listing and a sample run. No graphics in the game, just plain text as it should be 😋

Kubrick's 2001 is considered one of the greatest movies ever made (I agree). I couldn't tell you a thing about the inner lives of the characters or their arcs.
