Claude Design is showing some horribly narrow style choices and big tells. It'll be interesting to see where this goes as a concept, but so far I'm not impressed.

AI is making a ton of disposable PM work and half-baked code trivial. If you’re still gatekeeping it as cheating, you’re not protecting quality, you’re just scared it’ll show how much of your own output was already low effort.

Come on man, by way worse you mean it was instable which happen at the same time tons of people suddenly discovered Claude for the first time. It got way worse because a ton of people flooded on to the platform. The actual performance of the models did not degrade. It wasn't popular but they have massively improved since restricting Open Claw use. Open AI has more compute but they've also been trending a bit down in usage, definitely not surging the way Claude was in March. Enterprise cycles are locked in but you can sub to Codex for a couple months if you're hitting RL.

I understand there’s a ton of Claude fans out there. I was there too 4-5 weeks ago. Then it got way way way worse and without explanation. What’s worse is that I would consider myself a heavy power user. What about the folks that aren’t and have no idea it was dumbed down over 60% or more since its initial release and are using this day to day. Codex is outperforming Claude in every way right now. Additionally OpenAI is much more transparent, cheaper, and produces much better code in every way to Claude at the moment. Claude has massive outages, lack of transparency to users, some really bad operational and security practices. They’ve lost me. I’m done. What happened ?

All the new vibe-coded apps and software can either be viewed as categorically without value, or a lot of noise users have to sort through to find where the high-value software exists. If you believe real apps and businesses will be built using AI, then there's a huge opportunity in helping users discover which apps are good and trustworthy. This is another reason why Apple banning vibe-coded apps shows how out of touch they are with the future of technology.

Everyone suddenly fleeing Anthropic after running to it two weeks ago will be running back very soon. Your stack needs to be stickier than a press release. Be flexible and able to migrate, but not dogmatic and reactionary.

This may be a dumb question but I’ll ask it here anyways: I can’t find a good way for my various AI chats to automatically sync its conversation history into a structured knowledge base. So that as I update various chats from time to time and refine context, my knowledge base automatically grows with this new info.

Vibe coding is just product management but instead of telling a developer you tell an agent. As a PM, I actually know way more about the code when using AI than I would otherwise but that still doesn't matter. The real question is are my employees (AI or human) capable?
