No product is better positioned to deliver agentic, business-model-shifting AI than @SlackHQ 1. Create GPT w/ Slack actions + apps 2. Deploy as team member 3. @ them to run your business OpenAI’s launch of ChatGPT for Teams is the start of an unexpected, very welcome matchup.
Pietro Schirano@skirano

Wild! With the new mention capability for GPTs, I can create an app with Grimoire, and seamlessly ask DesignerGPT to deploy it. No change in instructions needed – it's pure intelligence at work. ✨ You can deploy all your ideas for free, with just a mention of @ DesignerGPT.

@emonuxui It was mostly a joke about AaaS that clearly didn’t land, but I agree with your actual take

@ClareCraigPath And just as many rats were on the ship, right? 11/147 people on the ship are confirmed or highly suspected cases, but they’re all from rats right?

The paper claiming human to human transmission of Hantavirus is outrageous. EVERY single case was in the town with the disease rats. Exposure from those rats could account for EVERY SINGLE CASE. 82 healthcare workers were exposed in a hospital setting with minimal PPE and were fine. The claims of hospital spread to patients and visitors were ALL also exposed in the same town.

@zo0r @Railway @neondatabase Their cloud provider (GCP) blocked their account and then dragged their feet on incident response. Hardly the same category of issue that would warrant this public shaming. Are you not equally upset with Github, Cloudflare, AWS, and GCP? Or have you not been roasted there yet?

we migrated our production apis 1 hour ago after a 40-minute outage. more than 2 hours later, @railway is still down. @railway is for cloud what @neondatabase is for databases. since our platform launch, we've had three outages. guess who was behind every one? yes, @railway. big mistake trusting you.

@gqueiroz1313 @JustJake @theo You’re entitled to the uptime promised in your service agreement. I can guarantee you it is not a 100% uptime guarantee. Your comments are just peak asshole hour with sprinkles of holier-than-thou micromanagement. Nobody gaf about your downtime over everyone else’s downtime.

@_mateic @JustJake @theo Moving workloads manually AFTER a crash isn't multi-cloud redundancy it’s panic. If they were truly multi-cloud, a GCP outage wouldn't paralyze them. Defending a single point of failure by telling paying users they 'aren't entitled' to uptime is peak amateur hour.

@gqueiroz1313 @JustJake @theo Lol they are multi-cloud, and they run their own infra as well (Metal), which wasn’t affected. They’re moving workloads over to AWS and Metal, as mentioned above. Unless you are an enterprise customer, idk why you feel entitled to redundancy across clouds with zero downtime

@JustJake @theo "An account." That's the problem right there. You spend $2M a month and you put your entire infrastructure into a single GCP account with no multi-cloud redundancy? Google didn't break Railway, your architecture did.

@fchollet Another way to think about this is “context gravity” Carve the landscape to create basins of attraction, and let gravity take its course. Make the correct outcome also the most likely/path of least resistance.

A mental model for working with coding agents is that they're blind squirrels running into a maze and bumping into walls. You must place the walls (verifiable constraints) strategically so that they end up in the general region you want them in.

@pawel_plx @ecommartinez @IsomorphicLabs No it’s really not sensationalized. Lol like it’s the mission statement of the company, as stated by the founder of the company, who just closed $2.1B to put toward the mission to reimagine drug discovery and one day cure all disease.

@ecommartinez @IsomorphicLabs Your post is sensationalised and does not convey what Hassabis said. You wrote that: - the money is directly intended to “cure all diseases” - this is a concrete promise or plan to “cure all diseases” This is NOT what he wrote. Just ask AI to translate that post to Spanish 😅

2.100 millones. Una sola misión.
Demis Hassabis@demishassabis

I’ve always believed the No.1 application of AI should be to improve human health. That work started with AlphaFold, and now at @IsomorphicLabs with the mission to reimagine drug discovery and one day solve all disease! We are turbocharging that goal with $2.1B in new funding.
