Not a classic floor general but: • Transition initiator. • Downhill creator. • Advantage generator. So Instead of "run the offense" It becomes: "Break the defense early and force rotations." Early offense every possession: • Grab and go rebounds. • Outlet -> immediate attack. • Drag screens before defense is set. First action = pressure, not play calling. • Drive first. • Collapse defense. • Then kick or finish. Playmaking comes after pressure: • Not reading the floor first. • Forcing the defense to react first. For this to work? Jalen Green needs to work on: • Better decision making at full speed. • Improved finishing through contact. • Willingness to pass early when help comes. • Control (not just speed.) Chaos without control = turnovers + bad offense. Core Principles: • Length + Defense. • Shooters. • Vertical spacing bigs • Open driving lanes. • Fewer contested pull-ups. • Jalen Green attacking early in the shot clock.
