🇻🇪 #Venezuela: There has been a revolt at the Barinas Judicial Internment Center (INJUBA), with inmates climbing onto the rooftops of the prison towers and burning mattresses while demanding the resignation of the prison director after several reports of torture, beatings, violent searches, isolation measures, and the elimination of visits.
Videos sent to prison rights organization OVP show a large portion of the inmate population on the rooftops holding banners marked "SOS" and "No More Torture". The inmates claim what started as a “peaceful revolt” turned violent after custody staff and security forces allegedly opened fire on detainees, leaving several injured. Regional reports mention that inmates' family members also got in a fight outside the prison with National Guard officers as they were about to storm the detention center.

The IDF has built a string of bases in Palestinian Rafah along Egypt’s border. The imagery shows at least five Israeli sites, including two with Merkava Mk4 tanks & M109 howitzers, a serious provocation under the peace treaty’s security annex, which bars heavy weapons in Zone C.
