App accepted on Play Store but still waiting for review on App Sorre (3rd submission) This time it was refused because 2 Screenshots in the App Store assets had the sentence « free signup ». You shouldn’t mention price in these in assets. Re did the screenshots and submitted but waiting till monday

Piton de la Fournaise—one of Earth’s most active volcanoes—has erupted nonstop since Feb 13, 2026. Lava just crossed RN2 after ~19 years... and now it’s hitting the ocean off Réunion Island! 🌋🌊🔥 Fire meets sea in epic style. 🎥 asap436asap

if you want to survive the next 12 months as a founder, you need a huge mindset shift. stop what you're doing, and look around the room you're in. that cup of coffee you see? it's no longer coffee. it's AI-powered coffee. that chair? AI-enabled human seating device built with agentic AI workflows. ChatGPT on your computer? no longer an AI assistant, it's an AI-powered AI assistant with built-in AI. if this doesn't make sense to you, i can't help you.

I am trying very hard to justify my Claude sub this week, since picked-up Codex on monday... and on every single complex task Codex 5.3 was better than Opus 4.6 Also noticed this morning Claude code was set to "medium" effort for some reason (not the first time they do that through sneaky update switching default model or reasoning effort). but even putting it back on High effort, still not a match so will probably churn

2 weeks into a new app aimed at painters and visual artists, marketing page is up at manywalls.art (tanstack-start) Until this January I had never touched react-native and now with agentic coding I am making my second app, crazy times. Targeting march for release

Little overview of the in-progress app, built with @expo, @convex and agentic-coding with claude code that produced: - a marketing app - an admin app - a mobile app - a frontends app that hold artists subdomain scoped portfolio lots of rules, patterns and skills and all web-stuff is on the same stack tanstack-start + convex & better-auth + @Cloudflare workers. even though i have many years of experience end of last year was full of doubt and fear with AI. Now I fully embraced it and I am having lots of fun

"YoU pRoMpTeD wRoNg!" "YoUr RePo StRuCtUrE sUcKs!!" It was an empty directory with a single .csv file. I tested the exact same prompt on Codex after and it had no issues. I legitimately hate people like this.

I don’t know anymore, I think about it a lot but i don’t have a definitive opinion. I would agree that being an expert is super valuable but not on a framework level. Being an expert on architecture, systems design, how the web works, computing in general... This kind of expertise will be valuable since having an expert level on Odoo/React/Tailwind/whatever may become a commodity, your AI Agent will be an expert on that tech pretty fast pretty soon. On that basis, knowing that good expertise level is easily achievable, your breath of knowledge (generalist) is an asset. Knowing the different message broker techs, the different sync engines, the "right tools for the job", will virtually destroy all the skill limits you had before. I know Odoo integrators, that will spin up an instance just to make a marketing website for a small shop, and saw it first-hand that this decision was made because "we know how to do it with Odoo". But if in AI era no tech is out of reach, why would you settle for slow website, with bad lighthouse metrics, that ship big JS for no reason (in that example) ? You would just reach out for a more lightweight tech (from your expertise) and let AI be the expert on that one

@_philDL Years ago! Yes! Today! No…. Today with AI enablers, more options are better to impulse creativity, at least form my POV everyday I am learning new things and doing new stuff…. Being a generalist is not an option today! Being specific clean and explicit is better (odoo’s way)

damn coming back to Odoo 19 after few years off and now they have their own utility classes... close to classic CSS syntax but not quite, close to tailwind but not really, so you just learn it for Odoo and never use it elsewhere, while tailwind is ubiquitous nowadays 🤦‍♂️...

i also don't get why no just use tailwind, Odoo always like to do things their own way. For OWL I understood: class inheritance, xml template that can get overwritten, suit the whole architecture better than a functionnal lib like React. But for this example I don't get it, and i forgot Odoo was like that so I just expressed my frustration. I saw lot of young engineers have their first role as Odoo eng, disappointed that they don't get to use the tech they learn at school or bootcamps, making hiring annoying. On the other end of the spectrum, old engineers get stuck in the "Odoo way", they code in python but don't know much about modern python, still talk about JS by JQuery standard. Their skill atrophy, and they miss out on all the cool stuff that is happening around. In the end Tailwind or bootstrap/odoo utility classes can be learned at the same speed but you missing out on so much modern design, templates, and libraries being built around Tailwind everyday. You also technically miss out on "tree-shaking" your css bundle to only the classes you uses so you don't ship the whole lib.

@_philDL Don’t get the point, can you explain better why is this a problem? I.e I learn foundation never use it again, is it not the point of diversity?
