Fact is game came out at around 200k PC players, then increased to 400k over the holidays and then as people have gone back to work and can't continue to play as much and it's back down to 200k again. You're simply relying on the fact that we don't have the data to prove you wrong because Microsoft and Sony don't allow it to be publicly available. Who knows? It could be going in fucking loop-de-loops for all I know. All I takes is for Embark to put the game on sale or add a new update and players will come flooding back. "Erm but if you look at the chart its flat after the recent update 🤓" So? Isn't definite proof the game is dying or dead. It's still got a pretty large player count for a multiplayer game released last year. Could literally do the same thing with GTA online, because it definitely still doesn't have the same concurrent playercount that it used to and apparently that means a game is dying. You also have to bare in mind it's not the easiest game to run. I'm sure if it ran on a low end PC it would be getting a ton of more players.

Upscaling is a way of allowing lower performing cards to run new titles in high settings without a performance cost. It's still optional, you can turn it off in-game or in the NVIDIA app.

Exactly, my view is this is NVIDIA's action to help with the high component cost and poor optimization in games atm. Unable to run a game in high or ultra settings? DLSS sorts that. You want ray tracing lighting but the game either doesn't support it or you can't run it? This sorts that. Yes it does require a 50 series card but seeing as a 5070 costs half the price of a 4070ti and out performs it, that's not that bad.
