You wont believe how much I paid a young developer for this game idea that got 25,000,000 plays.. > After releasing 2 viral tycoons got 15M plays, I was approached by a young developer who offered to sell me his game idea > We agreed that I would pay him in Robux for the idea if I used it but also mentioned that if the game got featured he would be paid double > Turns out Roblox hand picked the game to be featured TWICE on the front page in a featured I kept my word. He was paid 45k Robux in total, in 3 payments of 15k. Did I overpay or was it worth it? #Roblox #RobloxDev #RobloxUGC

@SkepticSoftwork They probably will the requirements are basically impossible unless you spend 200k+ on ads,, but there’s always a 50% chance Roblox doesn’t care so 😍 exciting

Hopefully Roblox reconsiders the new requirements for publishing games to all users. 500 highly engaged players feels unnecessarily high, especially for smaller developers. Roblox has always been a platform where anyone could create games, regardless of popularity and budget.

@ValraSwag Genuinely lost about this because. I just released a game 2 weeks ago with a time played leaderboard and despite having only 35 ‘engaged players’ the 35th person on the leaderboard has a 130 minute session time?? Wtf are their requirements

The "Highly engaged players" is the worst thing ever. This just instantly kills a games MOST important point aka when it first releases. And it kills small games like mine that is purely used if people wants to donate. My game is never reaching 500 engaged players💔
