I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve driven the A832 to Kinlochewe, but it never once lets me down.

@astarmara Well I’m really glad that they take you right back there! I’ve got the pinnacle Cul Mor shot above my fireplace in the living room - looking at it right now in fact!
English

@_rossdavidson Homesick for Assynt & Coigach looking at these! Always draws you back. Wonderful scenes with that feel of being right in amongst them ❤️
English

@astarmara I understand that feeling very well. I’m leading an expedition on the isle of rum next week! Looking forward to that very much 🙂
English

@_rossdavidson Really did thank you. Now back at work in Manchester and questioning life choices as we normally do in the jarring transition days 😂 Rightmove not helping with Assynt property suggestions either 😂 Hope you've got a break to the hills coming soon 😊⛰️
English

@astarmara Fabulous!! I’ve camped up there three or four times I think, I forget now. It’s been kind to me!
English

@_rossdavidson It's such a special one, camped up there once which was magic. This time it was freeezing with the North wind, but bright and beautiful! Plus had a pair of golden eagles circling over for an extra breathtaking touch! 😊

@johnmac201 Quite right, J! I will most certainly see them again 😌😊
English

@_rossdavidson Those sort of friends are enduring Ross, and will always be waiting for your return. 😊

@Ayoungrambler This isn’t alpenglow. Alpenglow is the reflected light of the sun before it’s risen in the sky on the snow. Usually more substantial snow coverage than in this example as well. But I appreciate the comment regardless.
English

@StuartKlinke @_rossdavidson Aha! Me too! First two from Clachtoll, one from Applecross and a chunk of Rum. Scotland rocks!

English

@jonwood1978 Hi Jon, yes I did it in August last year and found it similar. Particularly towards the top of the gully. Be interesting to see how the line up from CNC compares! Don’t see many folk up there at least 🤣
English

@_rossdavidson HI Ross, going down into the corrie was fine although steep, the gully going up onto the ridge was extremely steep with loose vegetation and rocks. Going back down just as difficult, definitely a route less travelled. But all doable if taking your time.

One of the more difficult Munro Tops I've had to reach, top left is the summit of Meall Dearg [Northern Pinnacles] on one of the best mountains in Scotland, Liathach in Torridon. That's 499 done out of 508 summits over 3000ft...
