@frankosafe @Leventis_eth @thecableindex Thank you. Please mention those foreigners since you have gone divergence. You seems to think owning a shop and selling imported goods is what is the key builder of Southwest Economy. 🤣🤣🤣

@yorubachic 2 ...I met an Hausa man in the market today" vise versa. So does that mean I gave him Hausa or he gave me Yoruba name. No. So researcher based their bias conclusion on the documented narratives of outsiders and even AI work with such narratives today...

Yoruba is an adopted exonym. An exonym is a name given by outsiders. This doesn’t erase the fact that endonyms exist, names we call ourselves like Ọmọ Odùduwà, Ọmọ káàrọ ojire. This isn’t unique to Yoruba people, it exists all over the world. Japan, Hungary, Germany are all exonyms used globally, yet those people still have their own identities and names for themselves. Even the scholar quoted using “Yariba” is Berber, which is also an exonym, they self-identify as Amazigh. So the idea that an external name somehow invalidates a people’s identity just doesn’t hold up. Yorubas have always identified through subgroups—Oyo, Ijebu, Egba, Ekiti—while still being part of a larger shared identity. That dual identity isn’t new or contradictory, it’s how we’ve always existed and still exist today. All the subgroups still exist and identify as distinct identities within the larger group today. This video is deeply offensive, and I’m not sure why this person is trying to position as an expert on Yoruba culture. In a multi-ethnic country like Nigeria, this comes across as disrespectful, especially when basic elements of the culture are being misrepresented especially when the “Yariba” word has now become a slur and ethnic dog whistle to denigrate Yoruba people. #yorubaculture #yoruba #75daysofculture

@yorubachic I disagree with the notion anyway that Yoruba is adopted exonym. Yoruba is purely a Yorubiod word. When a lie has linger for so long it must time become the accepted truth. It's odd for me to document that 'I, a Yoruba man met an Hausa man in the market today' but rather " ...

@yorubachic That should be after he successfully tell us why his own people history is missing in our History Book. Remember, same people once canceled history from our curriculum. Even minority tribes can tell their tales, while one of the major tribe don't even have one.

@DanielRegha Bro, I recommend you watch "The men who built America 1, 2 & 3" Economic growth and Development is not driven by government but by citizens. We need 100 more people like him for a speedy growth. Government should create the check and balances that's all.
