Between the Libertarian Party, Punks For Liberty, running for office, and helping other candidates/initiatives I have tabled and handed out literature for well over 100 events
There have been several times when shitty people took full stacks of literature that I was handing out and threw them into the trash right in front of me.
Was I mad? Absolutely. But I never laid a hand on someone else over it, because there is a scale of escalation that most mature and responsible adults adhere to when it comes to raising a hand to somebody.
That said, other appropriate avenues could have been taken to get the magazines back and also potentially get the other delegate theif expelled.
Hitting a woman across the face isn't an appropriate escalation and I don't even know who would defend that other than maybe chronic spousal abusers or groypers. Unbelievable.

Yesterday, a few posts were shared on the @LPNational page encouraging people to attend our upcoming convention and also offering some basic guidance on standard convention attire for first-time attendees.
Unfortunately, those posts were deleted after being deemed “too controversial.”
If we want the Libertarian Party to cultivate a culture of professionalism, competence, and excellence... and be taken seriously at the local level... then we should present ourselves accordingly.

Pleased to announce that my LNC convention dress code proposal has officially been moved and has the necessary cosponsors to be voted on and considered by the LNC before next week! If all goes according to plan, the LP will enter convention with a basic business casual dress code policy in place for official proceedings. Yes, that also means the Chair or a designee would have the authority to remove blatantly unserious or unprofessional behavior from the convention floor during official business sessions. We are so back.
