That didn't go well. Train got canned at Ridgmont as the driver of the crossing train noticed heavy smokes from this one.

@LNRailway Guess the brand new rake isn't the only train I'm debuting today. 😉 LNWR's only diesel stock - Class 150 on the Marston Vale line from Bletchley to Bedford (and most likely back)

@saravin2 @LNRailway Nope. It's a double line route. The on-board team got lucky, this happened at a station with a set of points. There is a crossover at only 3 stations in the route.

@bhaumikgowande Honest opinion. Most of south renewed their fleet about a decade and a little ago. Around 2015, Delhi buses seemed like they were a million years old and buses in the south were brand new.
What goes up has to come down. 🙃
