@_theleonkearney This isn’t, and has never been, factual. The overwhelming majority of Wrexham, notts, Stockport, chesterfield and Barnet fans (and I’m sure there are more) all still support 3 up from the NL, and I fully expect York and Rochdale fans to say the same. ⚫️⚪️

@mattjones_sport @jones_pd Harrison Rice, Mikey Lane, Jack Loughran, all plying their trades at Bolton, Fleetwood and Shrewsbury respectively. Callum Jones currently at Dundee. There are loads of lads we've had in the academy over the last 10 years who would have played some part at Tranmere.

@jones_pd Cresswell is still going at Stoke, then there are the likes of Koumas, Apter, Al Hamadi, Rooney, Norris etc who were in academy but never got to YTS stage

@MattyRobbo24 @BoyseygolfSWA There'll always be a stain on the players of the last 2 years. Finley more so, due to his ban. But some of them aren't bad players overall. In L2 players will make mistakes, but the 3/4 mentioned do try & do graft. There are certainly a chunk of players I would be getting rid of.

How sad is this? We have always been proud of our youth and next season could be the year we see no representation. A stain on the Palios tenure.

Carlisle are the reason we simply had to stay up. Look at them. Paying sheets to players and still getting pipped by Borehamwood. That league is absolutely vile, and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. That is why yesterday was such a relief. We must not let it happen again.

I wouldn’t take much notice to this. With how well of a job he had done with Rochdale, he was always going to be linked with EFL jobs, especially given he use to play for Barnsley. Naughty from @reluctantnicko tho to come out with this on the day of a big game for Dale. #RAFC

When you see footage of Leicester, Leeds and Chelsea players blanking young fans it only highlights how guys like Ryora Morishita put them all to shame.

@brokensocialste I couldn't even celebrate the goal properly 😆 Felt sick until we knew Harrogate and Crawley had finished. But yes, a full Prenton Park is a deadly submarine, waiting to rise once more.

@_theleonkearney The noise at the start (with Grimsby doing their bit too) was incredible. Didn't enjoy the experience myself, just felt sick, but did take time to appreciate what a full prenton park looked and sounded like. Potential is definitely there, time to realise it.

As much as it was 10 months of anxiety coming to an end, I did enjoy Saturday. Prenton Park was a beautiful sight. The noise was absolutely raucous too. Just hope the new era of Tranmere gives this fanbase what it deserves. Better days 🤍
