How dare you suggest I am the spouse of a senior Labour politician, and my breakfast television spot might, perhaps, indicate a conflict of interest!

Well done to @ZackPolanski for calling out the fact he was being interviewed by a former Lab minister & husband of the current foreign secretary! Since the start of this year #GMB is produced by @itvnews. How can they think this is tenable? Oh & Ed took it in good grace (not)

At least 2000 British nationals served in the Israeli army throughout the genocide in Gaza, as @declassifiedUK recently revealed. When will their citizenships be stripped?
Sky News@SkyNews

Mark Bullen is a former British police officer, who was stripped of his UK citizenship because of his links to Russia. In an exclusive interview, Mr Bullen tells Sky's @IvorBennett that the idea he is a threat to UK national security is "ridiculous". trib.al/89dJzpX

Green Party: we will re-nationalise water, tax wealth, and lead a green Industrial Revolution. Labour Party: we will defend to the death MPs right to get pissed at work on the taxpayers expense.

British MPs want to drink during the day and have their housing expenses covered by the state. Sounds to me like they are the real benefits cheats.

There is no public record of the Palantir briefing attended by Keir Starmer and Peter Mandelson in February 2025 despite the Ministerial Code requiring Starmer to publish details of meetings with external organisations No 10 says the event was not a meeting and did not require official declaration, but Ministry of Defence officials who attended described it as a meeting Story: telegraph.co.uk/politics/2026/…

How many British Citizens that served in the IDF have had their UK citizenship stripped? It’s no exaggeration to say that there are probably people walking around the streets of the UK that have knowingly murdered children in Gaza over the last 3 years. It’s sick.

@Tabuachaem @bbcquestiontime I completely agree with nationalisation. Like I said that's not the policy which has been suggested.

@_tommills_ @bbcquestiontime i think the suggestion is nationalise a few that will be dedicated to UK energy needs, fertiliser production etc. why do people buy government bonds? stable returns it just bonds with material commitments and outputs. i think you're stuck in the head space "Thatcher" built.

@Tabuachaem @bbcquestiontime I don't think it's as lucrative an opportunity as you're suggesting - a private company wouldn't opt into making less profit, if they did it would be time based If you're also suggesting nationalising oil and gas drilling then that's not what this policy is indicating

@_tommills_ @bbcquestiontime Companies constantly chase steady returns backed by government financial clout. if there is profit to be made they will come and compete for the contract. if not, we do it ourselves. We have the people and the skills.
