The project aims to train educators, develop interactive learning spaces, and strengthen Holocaust remembrance through Yad Vashem’s educational approach centered on the voices and experiences of Jewish victims. Yad Vashem Chairman Dani Dayan described the choice of Munich as carrying “deep symbolic significance,” saying it is important to confront Nazi history “where it began.” German Education Minister Karin Prien warned that many young Germans still know too little about the Holocaust and stressed that remembrance and the fight against antisemitism are a national responsibility. The center is expected to open within the next three years.
