The same street, 70 years apart. Hale Road, Walton, Liverpool. It looked immaculate in the 1950s compared to today. Why did people stop caring about their communities?

@MarcDaran @sloffing @bo66ie29 Your response doesn’t mean anything. Same with calling people racist or islamophobic. Your magic spell no longer works

I am pleased to announce that I am the @reformparty_uk candidate for Northfield Ward in the local elections on May 7th I am 24 years old and work as a plumber, running a small business serving customers across Birmingham, my working life is grounded in the real economy. Working in people’s homes, I speak to ordinary residents every day and see first-hand the challenges families face with local services and the condition of our city. My interest in politics began in my early teens, when I started to reject the prevailing left-wing worldview that had been presented to me for much of my life. Even at that age, I felt strongly that it was traditional values that hold our society together family, community, faith, and national identity and that these were increasingly being undermined in the name of “progress.” Around that same time, I also found my Christian faith, something I hope continues to shape my understanding of responsibility and service to others. This election feels different because the political landscape itself is changing. We are witnessing the growth of sectarian politics and the "unholy" coalition on the left. I feel it is essential that residents are offered a credible alternative, one rooted in British values, civic responsibility, and respect for our nation. That’s why I’m standing for Reform UK. We are the only alternative. Reform is the only party willing to challenge the political consensus that has dominated British politics for too long. I am excited to be part of this once in a lifetime political revolution, and if elected will work tirelessly to deliver for residents on that basis. Thank you for reading, George

@sloffing @bo66ie29 Also, the unkept front gardens further back up this point, it wouldn’t take much to maintain this and make the street look a whole lot nicer but it’s not in their interest to do this, nor their culture, so it never happens

@sloffing @bo66ie29 … probably because the shop owners decided to use it as some kind of storage room, with no consideration for the aesthetics because it’s not their homeland. They don’t give a shit. They’re in it for themselves and their community only

Do you know what’s mad. I spent all day in central London today and wasn’t murdered once. I’m starting to think these claims about London being crime-ridden might be false.

@Paul_J_Kaos @Wetlettuce70 @ForeverScept I mean you are right, but pouch cells are used in situations where there’s a protective outer layer. The 18650 has the protective layer built in. But when both are equal, there is no difference

@_wd_o @Wetlettuce70 @ForeverScept Okay take a pouch cell and an 18650, charge them both as high as theyll charge, put both in your pocket with your keys, and then take a nap in a hammock We will inspect your charred corpse to determine which cell incinerated you...

@StablePleb @maxtempers @motabilitycheck I’m pretty sure the API was nerfed in such a way that it made it very difficult or impossible to determine if a registration was registered to a Motability car or not

@Paul_J_Kaos @Wetlettuce70 @ForeverScept Not true. They’re no more or less volataile. There are vehicles which use multiple “pouch” batteries in series. E.g BMW i3 used Samsung pouch cells (multiple). There are probably way more that are the same, too

@Wetlettuce70 @ForeverScept Bro do you realize how quickly that would burst into fucking flames? Pouch batteries are way volatile they dont line up as well and then they bend and take damage way easier. These are the kinda batteries that burn your house down from charging too fast lol

@SetPixels @ForeverScept You can replace individual problematic cells. It’s getting cheaper Also just look at a replacement quote for a comparable ICE engine. Basically the same if not more
