This tweet reminded me how many people are so emotionally attached to nostalgia yet complaining about not getting new lighting, but when Epic finally considers it in a way that still captures the STW look, people complain it's ruining what STW is.

Epic is likely working on updating Save The World's lighting, using "HestiaBeauty" night time and day sequences as testing grounds. Unsure when the transition will happen. Here is pictures of how the "new" Day Sequence system looks like ingame in a Stonewood Suburban zone.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced graphics upgrade is massive, the game is far more detailed, especially in towns with just how much clutter there is now.
Edward himself looks identical to how he looked in the old cinematic trailers, this is a huge step-up & looks gorgeous!

im personally not a fan of how Fortnite chapter 7 is handling bosses at all, my biggest problem with this chapter
1- no more guards pretty much, max 1 or 2, makes boss pois much less interesting
2- Having to guess where the boss will go is very boring, or just the boss not having its own iconic place to be in also boring
The way slone did it better, changing location based on her story
3- sometimes the boss doesnt drop its mythic weapon, and instead you get a legendary, like why?
Basically ch7 is making me not care about bosses anymore, and since i really like bossfight pois thats not a good thing in my eyes

in my opinion, while the correct precedent is set, the scooby doo skins sit in this weird limbo where they don't have *too* much detail and look kinda off-putting

@jdcollado with studios like disney, i'd assume the answer is purely down to what costs the least. i mean there's no doubting that a volume cuts a ton of corners, but i'm curious how the price differs overall given the huge amount of work that still goes in to either method 🤔
