Did you know that @selfcustodykrux, @SeedSigner and @SpecterDIY all depend on the same Bitcoin Micropython library, Embit? The library was created by @StepanSnigirev, who’s now building a quantum computer (hopefully so he can come back to defend us from it). We brought Stepan and all three teams together for a week-long retreat at Casa21 to share knowledge, plan how to pass the torch and decide how Embit’s maintenance will look from now on. It wasn’t just the first time the three projects were in the same room. It was also the first time the entire Krux team met in person, the first time for the full SeedSigner team, and a “completesh” SpecterDIY-revival crew. @zerohedge True. That is why Bitcoin is based on energy: you can issue fake fiat currency, and every government in history has done so, but it is impossible to fake energy.

The money is not the problem: AI is the new global arms race, and capex will eventually be funded by governments (US and China). If you want to know why gold/silver/bitcoin is soaring, it's the "debasement" to fund the AI arms race. But you can't print energy

@porkopolis_econ In other words, when the economy broadly runs on sound money, it's rational that stocks flip the pure money appreciation again, isn't it? However, it's questionable if the yardstick (y-axis) is then still denominated in USD, or if nobody cares in USD denomination anymore?

@porkopolis_econ When that happens (2070), it means most of the companies are on a Bitcoin Standard. Then we fixed the world! Mission accomplished. I guess it's fine (rational) then to allocate capital in productive assets (companies) again instead of just holding the "unproductive" base money.

Last night, Donald Trump pledged to commute my sentence on day 1, if reelected. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. After 11 years in prison, it is hard to express how I feel at this moment. It is thanks to your undying support that I may get a second chance.

They can only control us because we use their money. I vote for #Bitcoin, every single day.

Bargeldlose Zahlung muss eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein. Und das flächendeckend in ganz Deutschland - ganz egal, ob in einer Kneipe, beim Bäcker oder in einer Behörde. Eine aktuelle Umfrage von Bitkom bestätigt die Forderung: Zwei Drittel der Befragten (66 %) sprechen sich für eine gesetzliche Pflicht aus, dass überall neben Bargeld auch eine digitale Zahlungsmethode akzeptiert werden muss. Richtig so. Denn echte Freiheit bedeutet, die Wahl zu haben. Und dabei geht es nicht um die Abschaffung des Bargelds. Wer lieber bar zahlt, soll das gerne tun. Ich persönlich sehe viele Vorteile in der Kartenzahlung - es verursacht weniger CO2-Emissionen und ist hygienischer. Der Branchenverband Bitkom hat nun ein Positionspapier erstellt, das hoffentlich von unserer Bundesregierung ernst genommen wird. Damit auch endlich hier Kartenzahlung Normalität wird. Zahlt ihr lieber bar oder mit Karte? #deutschland #zukunft
