🚨 Super Falcons’ Nnadozie reveals plans for new Brighton mate Zadok Yohanna: 🗣️ “The men’s and women’s teams have bonding events where they pair players based on their nationality. For example, if there is a player from a specific country on our team and a counterpart on the men's team, they pair us together so we can chat. It’s great to have a fellow Nigerian to connect with.” “The best part is that we live in the same compound, so we will see each other often. I plan to welcome him properly, help him however I can, 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬—things like that. I’m truly happy for him and glad to have another Nigerian at the club.”. A racist Chinese man sat next to an Igbo man on a train in China and proceeded to cover his nose as if the Igbo man smelled bad. The Igbo man responded by returning the same energy. Even after the Chinese man stopped covering his nose, the Igbo man no gree make peace reign.

Eric Njiru ⚽️@EricNjiiru

Infantino was asked by a BBC journalist if he's embarrassed by what has come to pass and does he accept he's lost control of his tournament here. His response: “in 2035, the Women’s World Cup, I think, will be in the UK. Would you find it normal that FIFA will dictate to the British government who to let in the country and who not to let in?” #FIFAWorldCup

If you watch anything today, watch this Palestinian man's testimony about what's happening in Israeli prisons. UPDATE They released him over a year ago and we heard he had been abducted AGAIN because he spoke out about Ben Gvir putting him in a black plastic bag and dancing on his body. We don't even know if he's still alive.

🔺The Iranian army said it carried out a drone attack on the U.S. Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain in response to the U.S. “terrorist aggression” on southern Iran, targeting the communication antennas and radar facilities of the fleet’s Patriot air defense system, according to Fars News Agency. The claim could not be independently verified, but military monitoring Telegram channels are reporting violent explosions in Bahrain.

West Africans need to stop forcing our history into Abrahamic or Middle Eastern narratives. It’s historically inaccurate, and honestly, it reflects a deep cultural insecurity. You Ijebu people are not Jews. Queen Sheba did not visit Ijebuland. Hausas are not Arabs from Baghdad. Igbos are not Israelites. We need to stop romanticizing foreign origins as if our civilizations only become meaningful when linked to the Middle East. West Africa already has a rich, ancient, and sophisticated history of its own, you have the Nok, Ile-Ife, Benin, Oyo, Gao, Mali, Kanem-Bornu, Igbo-Ukwu, and countless others. Many of our ancestors had lived and developed cultures in these lands for tens of thousands of years before Judaism, Christianity, or Islam even emerged. There is nothing inferior about being indigenous to Africa. We do not need borrowed identities to validate our existence, intelligence, spirituality, or achievements. Our history stands on its own. Stop it!

Do you know that Queen of Sheba that went to visit King Solomon in the Bible died in Nigeria 💔? Her burial site is located in Oke-Eri, a small village in Ogun State, Nigeria. It functions as an active pilgrimage and tourist site.

@Yurclout @Unabombaar There's nothing fallacious about my question, neither is your "cologne" explanation factual. You're just a certified idiot. Back to you; what tells you that the guy is wearing cologne?

@Unabombaar This isn't racism, Chinese, Japanese and Koreans are not used to strong cologne because some of them has zero body smell due to a gene they carry. When going to a place, educate yourself about the place. Ignorance is not a good thing

HOW THE WEST PUNISHED ZIMBABWE FOR TAKING BACK STOLEN LAND In an explosive interview, former pastor and Pan-Africanist Joshua Maponga broke down how the West economically strangled Zimbabwe after the nation reclaimed its stolen indigenous lands. Zimbabwe’s independence was shaped by the 1979 Lancaster House Agreement, under which Britain was expected to fund the redistribution of land from white settlers to the country’s indigenous Black population. But the former coloniser reneged on this promise in the 1990s, forcing President Robert Mugabe’s government to take the repossession of white-owned farms into the hands of the state and return land to Zimbabwe’s indigenous Black population. As noted by the interviewer, Sovereign Media's Ahmed Kaballo, Western-dominated economic institutions sanctioned Zimbabwe “to the hilt,” with Maponga adding that investment in Zimbabwe “remains the big red flag.” Maponga also confronted the deep-seated colonial trope used to justify the theft of African resources. “The propaganda says, when a Black man takes the land away, he does not know how to use it,” he said. Highlighting how Western media systematically attributes agricultural success exclusively to white ownership, Maponga added: “The only time the land is useful, it is when it’s in the hands of the white people.” And as Zimbabwe continues to be punished for daring to defy Western hegemony and reclaim its sovereignty, Maponga called for the dismantling of the myth that Africans are incapable of managing their own wealth.

B'Tselem בצלם بتسيلم
New footage obtained by B’Tselem uncovers the moments when the Abu Haikal family was shot. Seven-month-old Sam Abu Haikal was killed in the shooting, and both his parents were injured. The footage clearly shows that the Israeli soldier fired at the car as it was slowing to a stop. The car was far from the soldiers and posed no danger to them whatsoever. Moments later, in another video obtained by B’Tselem, seven-month-old Sam’s father, Fahed, is seen just after his son was shot. Fahed is holding baby Sam in his arms, trying to stop the bleeding from his head with his hands, while Sam’s mother, Daniyah, who was also injured by the gunfire while holding her son, is seen sitting on the ground, next to the car. Last Friday, 5 June, an Israeli soldier fired at a Palestinian family driving home from a family visit, as they sat in their car in the Tel Rumeidah neighborhood in Hebron. The family was shot as the car was slowing to a stop at the soldier’s command. Sam, a seven‑month‑old baby who was in his mother’s arms in the back seat, was struck in the head and pronounced dead shortly afterward. Sam’s parents were also injured by the gunfire; his mother is still in the hospital. After the shooting, the soldier who fired and another soldier who was with him left the scene without checking the car or offering any assistance to the critically wounded baby or to his mother. In the past two and a half years, Israel has killed tens of thousands of children in Gaza and the West Bank. The immunity it gets from the international community has led to a reality where, under Israeli rule, Palestinian lives are entirely disposable – even a seven‑month‑old baby.
