As a black person, I know black men rarely can do vulnerable or effeminate things w/o others in their circle and out trying to demean them for it.
That's why it's cool seeing Blue, a character in Deltarune, being a gay black dude who loves ballet and it's framed as neutral.

@carbeeDM @helpful46396 @venavibrr one shot is prolly the other closest example in mind but no i dont think UTDR would be what they are if this was truly tired territory . its as rudimentary of a concept as any other metatextual writing but the exploration within VGs as a medium certainly is not w this execution

like puppygirls are very consistently among the worst people i encounter . its hard to talk on this w/o sounding like youre suggesting defanging tgirls but there are plenty of great subcultures and this particular puppygirl subculture just breeds poisonous people for some reason

not saying correlation is causation but there was a detrimental shift in tgirl culture when puppygirls hit the scene like crack in the 80s that has made it so being the most selfish and noxious version of yourself is a prerequisite to participating in large swaths of community
