You cannot understand the heart of America without understanding the heart of those who built her. Frontier history never ended, its legacy continues in those who still perform our greatest and most daring deeds. This excellence is unique in every sense of the word. Almost everything that has been wrong in past policy and present political commentary stems from being either willfully ignorant of, or outright hostile to, this simple fact.

Carl Schmitt says that nation-states are doomed and the only future for America and Europe is a Großraum or "large space" This "Reich" must be an autocratic, Cameralist, Techno-Commercialist administrative bloc integrating public policy, fiscal discipline, eugenic population planning, public works, military, and economic planning into a singular sovereign decision-maker surrounded by a highly capable, cultivated self-perpetuating elite. State-directed mercantilism in a technological age guiding AI, biotech, infrastructure, and energy toward strategic rational ends. This American Reich is a Machtstaat, literally “power-state" whose telos and legitimacy is in maximizing its own strength and security perpetually. The survival and flourishing of the Reich is the only foundation for existing and not based on abstract ideals like equality, liberty, or human rights. The Whig-Puritan nomos is dead and a new nomos must be founded, in which America and Europe fuse together and become a multi-continental hegemon where no rival powers are allowed to operate within America’s Großraum and begin competing against the Chinese Han Großraum.

The Supreme Court hears oral arguments tomorrow in the “birthright citizenship” case, which may decide the future of our country. The question is whether children born in the US to ILLEGAL ALIENS are automatically entitled to US citizenship by virtue of the Fourteenth Amendment, enacted after the Civil War to give the freed slaves citizenship. But that provision does not say that ANYONE born on US soil is automatically entitled to US citizenship. To the contrary, it says that citizenship extends to persons born in the US “AND SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF.” Those key words prevent the amendment from giving out precious US citizenship like candy to the children of temporarily present or illegal aliens, who by definition not domiciled in, and do not enjoy the requisite bonds of allegiance to, our country. Citizenship is the very basis of our legal and social order. I don’t believe, for instance, that “El Pelón,” apparent new head of the bloodthirsty CJNG cartel in Mexico, is a US citizen simply because—as has been widely reported—he was born in California. Our Constitution is not a suicide pact.
