From what I'm hearing it seems there is a large divide amongst the religious camps. In the MO community the BDoA is the gold standard; while in the"yeshivish" community they are largely irrelevant- with many/most rabbanim not willing to allow their "halachik" prenup to be used when they are mesader kiddushin.
