@depression2019 If you think the near 50% of people dying wouldn’t affect you in any way, you should take a moment to reconsider. You mistake compassion for stupidity.
@DriftyB0i@w_s_bitcoin You guys say this like red button fellas aren’t the KINGS of this. “100% chance I don’t die” as if the murder of a gigantic fraction of the earth wouldn’t affect you too
@Datadripco@MrBeast This is an oversimplification, the red button is far more dangerous to both those who press red and blue. You kill billions, including your loved ones who’d hit blue, and leave yourselves in a broken world with billions dead
@MrBeast Survival of the fittest. Clear pick is Red. If you’re smart you’d pick red. If everyone was smart everyone would just pick red and survived. The dumb will end up dying.
Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.
@MrBeast Your loved ones would die, irreparable damage is done to the world and society, everyone who was compassionate for human life is dead, and you’re left in a broken world inhabited only by those selfish or cowardly enough to choose red. Pressing red means you did this to the world.
@MrBeast The blue button isn’t stupidity, it’s compassion. “Just don’t press the blue button” isn’t a realistic argument, because a massive amount of the population would. Pressing red just means you contribute to the death of billions.
@InsertNameRL777@hunkypablo@MrBeast You truly believe only a few thousand people would? Realistically at least 30% or so would press it if not more. You will contribute to the death of billions and leave yourself with everyone else who pressed red, mistaking the blue button’s compassion as stupidity
@a_saddened@hunkypablo@MrBeast The only case I can think where pressing blue is that since EVERYONE is doing this, then even if only 10%people die then that has bad implications for life afterwards; So, you’d wanna ensure everyone’s survival. But if it’s just a couple thousand people then no reason to press blu
@hunkypablo@MrBeast I would still choose blue. Almost everyone I know and love would absolutely pick blue, living in a world with only red button pushers, with all my loved ones dead is something I’d rather die than experience
@philosophymeme0 To plan a vegan diet requires much more careful planning that takes a lot of time out of the things we want/need to do, it will take an extremely long time to condition humans to go against the instinct and desire to eat meat, and fake meats have a lot of health issues themselves
