4 years ago, my voice trembled as I introduced myself to then Lt @GovKathyHochul. I had just read her @CityAndStateNY interview & was blown away by how deftly she connected her faith to being pro-choice. Today’s my first day as her Dep Comms Director for Health & Human Services.

Gus Walz is neurodivergent. He has ADHD, anxiety, and a nonverbal learning disorder. Children and teens like Gus can have trouble regulating their emotions in social settings. What you saw tonight was pure love and emotion on a raw unfiltered level. ❤️

Tldr; student says we need to end DEI bc it’s curtailing intellectual discourse & is mad that minority groups pushed back when the head lawyer on Roe, leaders of an anti-LGBTQ+ org, and Ilya Shapiro spoke on campus—despite these events happening w/o student or admin intervention
