Since 2023 my family hasn’t rested, because this money-sucking evil disease called cancer has turned me into a burden to the people I love. I hate asking, but I have no choice. Please, if you’re willing and able, help me continue my chemotherapy treatment. 8146203234 moniepoint.

Stupid me, celebrating being cancer free, not knowing cancer was just hiding in one corner, laughing and waiting to come back with full force. I feel so betrayed by my own body. I hate this. I hate my life right now.

In Nigeria, we also had our own Mamdani long before New York City in the U.S. had theirs. I present to you Chukwu Cyprian Len, who won an election to represent Nguroje Constituency in the Taraba State House of Assembly. I know Nguroje. I almost married from there. I have visited the community several times. It has a sizeable Muslim population and the immediate past House of Assembly member representing Nguroje, Mohammed Bashir, is a Muslim. He was defeated by Cyprian Chukwu Len, an Igbo Christian. What happened in New York today can happen in Nigeria if we pay less attention to religion and focus more on ability. That is why Lagos is the Centre of Excellence. Not because of their ports, as some myopic people think. But because Lagos is one State that is laser-focused on competence and is the only state in Nigeria that has either elected or appointed government officials that come from all six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. Lagos is a reminder of what can be done nationally if we act rationally instead of religiously in choosing leaders. Reno Omokri Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker. Till date, whenever there's a family event, we do hire caterers for the cooking but you see those abroad people? They'd still be present there, sitting in one corner with other wives, with their flawless skins and expensive outfits, gisting while they dice carrots or sort ewedu. The husbands will be passing shots of whiskey and dropping money for iyawo ile. We still dey run errands even at my age. Always a beautiful moment. But it's twitter now.
Lady B - IYALODE OF X@mobola_ade

Dear future husband, I'm not doing iyawo ile. Let your family get professional caterers. T for tenks

@rantitobii @dammiedammie35 I am talking from multiple first hand experiences but won’t argue with you chief. Do your findings. I have first hand of experiences of many families whose families have taken over properties of their deceased sons. Many, so rampant in Yoruba land.

“Igbo patriarchy is very w!cked. As a Igbo girl I'll never marry a Igbo man. As an Igbo woman everything I work for is automatically my husband's if I marry an Igbo man and if I don’t have a child for him, it’s worse. If my father kpa! only his sons will inherit his properties." - Lady says🙆🏼‍♂️

Rashidi Yekini played for the Super Eagles for 14 years (1984 - 1998), and he is Nigeria's all-time international top scorer (37 goals). Victor James Osimhen made his Super Eagles debut in 2017 and is already Nigeria's 2nd highest ever top scorer (29 goals). A national team legend at 27. Enough said, really.

I believe you recall what I said about the territorial nature of men equiping them with the ability to detect signs when they are losing, but only the foolish ones ignore those signs. Turns out she did something else that's unrelated with what she thought. See for yourself!
