To those calling these handouts/freebies- When women move freely; when students stay in education; when you have protection from medical bankruptcy; and when young people can start businesses, the entire economy grows. That’s not a freebie. That’s #smartgovernance. @INCKerala

#RahulGandhi’s interaction with IT professionals at Technopark turned out to be a truly memorable experience for everyone who attended. Organizing it in a short time came with immense pressure, but seeing the event exceed expectations made it all worthwhile. Grateful to everyone who supported and helped make this interaction a great success.

Today, all MPs from Kerala, protested outside the Parliament demanding justice for the victims of the devastating tragedy that took place in Wayanad. Despite repeated pleas from the people and their representatives, the Centre refuses to classify the disaster as a “Calamity of Serious Nature” and provide the victims with the special financial package they need to help rebuild their lives. The people of Wayanad deserve accountability, compassion, and immediate action-not abandonment based on partisan political exigencies.

100 days back, India not only got a Leader of Opposition - we found a voice! In the first 100 days itself, @RahulGandhi ji has set a benchmark for what an ideal opposition leader should do. He has spoken against hatred, raised his voice for those neglected and rejected by the government, asked pointed questions that have made the ruling regime bend, and most importantly - he has begun the hard task of restoring democracy in India. Be it the NEET exam leak, Manipur crisis, or the caste census question, Rahul ji has ensured the government is not able to run roughshod over the lives of millions and takes steps to correct its missteps. Make no mistake, this is just the beginning. As we go further, Rahul ji’s passionate politics of raising the people’s voice is only going to yield better and better results. Along with the entire INDIA alliance, we will fight them tooth and nail in Parliament and outside and not rest until their fascist, divisive agenda is defeated.
