@Da7_Tech if you were using claude code you could go to the ER after hitting the limit instead

I criticize OpenAI more than most people, but credit where it’s due. I hit my usage limit about 2 hours into a task. Codex kept going and finished the whole thing after more than 9 hours total. That’s over 7 hours of work after my limit was already gone. Anthropic would never.

Someone should make an app to record meetings with automatic AI transcripts. Underexplored space rn.

does anyone want a self hostable open source cleaner and fully agentic notion without all the bloat they added in the last 10 years - pages and dbs are separated - BYOK for ai or cli or even use local llms - custom components just burning some tokens at night :)

AI can code for you. A website can still be a love language. Made this tiny site for my students in Introduction to Creative Web Programming at @USCCinema, built with @p5xjs.

🔑 I got tired of answering users who had forgotten their password so I shipped a password manager where you can retrieve your password using the email address you used to create your account

My skills repo has gained 8,000 GitHub stars in a week, it surpassed Vaul and is 300 stars short of surpassing Sonner. Not greatest metrics of success, but it’s a good indication of how the times change.

@thomaspaulmann @raycast knowing what not to build just because you can is a feature too, one of the reasons you guys do so well is the attention to detail and not bloating your product

At @raycast, one tension we feel is moving fast without lowering the quality bar. AI made writing software easier, but it didn’t make building a product easier. You still need to solve the right problems, keep it cohesive, and sweat the details. Our users open Raycast hundreds of times a day, so every rough edge compounds. I keep coming back to this: Moving faster requires you to build less. And that's surprisingly hard when every feature is just a prompt away.

@lgrammel medium is my daily driver as well, pretty much only run xhigh for debugging and architectural work. high is a bit more random for me, but it seems to be the biggest practical jump from medium in terms of quality vs cost

sol medium works pretty well for most of my coding use cases so far; when does it make sense to switch to high or max? larger projects?

Day 7 of actuallly building in public. The goal for this week was 100 followers. We sit at almost 150. I cant believe my eyes tbh. Its crazy to me. Thank you for being here. Really. This weekend was hard to keep up with the reply game, but the road to 1k continues.
