@MartinSLewis Re If you're self-employed, you can buy class 2 contributions a lot cheaper, for around just £160/yr. - we were told this is only back to 2017/18 - then it’s class 3 contributions at approx £824.20 a year - is this correct ?

@MartinSLewis Can we make everyone aware of back billing - despite being on smart meter and paying monthly by direct debit I hadn’t had a bill since Nov 22 - British Gas have just confirmed to remove £1500 from my outstanding balance unde back billing rules - it was a fight but worth it

The Red Membership ballot for Nottingham Forest at Home starts today at 1pm and closes on Monday 10th July at 1pm.
There is no advantage in applying on the dot at 1pm today, it’s a random ballot undertaken once closed.
Successful applicants to be charged on Wednesday 12th July.

Also trying since Jan but last Friday am after 2.5 hrs constant redial got through - to be told as self employed u need to speak to HMRC - that's a job for this Friday 🙄 we needed the full postal address of where we lived 30 years ago for security - nuts
@DWPgovuk After many weeks trying managed to get through re state pension today - but failed security re previous address. However previous address given was correct & we have dated tax statements to prove it. What do we do now? No advice offered. Call cut off?

@HMRCcustomers state pension - to make additional contributions. The link you gave me above is only for current address. They said previous address was wrong but it isn't. I've pulled out old tax statements to double check. How do we pass security if you says it's wrong but it's right?
@HMRCcustomers thanks - they are not wrong - all our tax statements show correct addresses for the correct date - we asked what we do next and the line was cut
