Saif only respectfully asked the police not to use force on women and the elderly, and for that, he was beaten. It’s shocking how a simple request for dignity and respect was met with such violence.

قابل احترام وزیر اعلی محترمہ مریم نواز صاحبہ! آپ نے کہا تھا کہ اقلیتیں آپکے سر کا تاج ہیں۔ بس یہ یاد دلانا تھا کہ کل ساری دُنیا نے آپکے تاج کو سڑکوں پر انتہا پسند درندوں کے ہاتھوں بے دردی سے روندتے ہوئے دیکھا۔ ایک بےگناہ مسیحی بزرگ کو ذاتی رنجش کی بنا پر توہین مذہب کے الزام میں سر عام بہیمانہ تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا گیا اور وہ ہسپتال میں اب بھی زندگی اور موت کی کشمکش میں ہے۔ ن لیگ اپنے تمام ادوارِحکومت میں مسیحیوں کا تحفظ کرنے میں ناکام رہی ہے اور آپکا دور بھی داغدار ہو گیا۔ آپ نے اُمید کی کرن دلائی تھی کہ شاید اب ایسا نہیں ہوگا لیکن اندازہ ہوگیا کہ آپ بھی سب کی طرح بے بس ہیں۔ پچھلے چھتیس گھنٹوں میں درجنوں مسجی بے گھر ہو گئے۔ ان کی جان و مال کی تذلیل کی گئی۔اب بھی اگر ممکن ہو تو جاکر ان کے زخموں پر مرہم رکھیں اور جھوٹی ہی سہی لیکن انصاف کی یقین دہانی کرائیں۔ وہ بہت بھلے اور بھولے لوگ ہیں، فوراً سے اپنے سارے غم بھول کر آپکی مان جائیں گے۔ اور اگر کچھ بھی نہ کر سکیں تو کم از کم ایک ٹوئٹ ہی کر دیں، ن لیگ کے مسیحی ورکرز کی کچھ عزت رہ جائے گی۔🙏😢 #SargodhaTragedy @MaryamNSharif

As a Candidate in the Election and being guardian of the Votes of all Voters in my Constituency regardless for whomever the voters have voted for I must share that as per Form 45 received so far from 42 polling stations out of total 159 stations in #PS110, #PTI is currently leading, #JI second and we are third and now results of remaining polling stations are being delayed or denied including using tactics like not starting the counting or Polling Staff making ridiculous excuses that they don't have hardcopy of Form 45 to fill and give to polling agents.
