@bscholl Soon: AI consumed all the worlds RAM and all the worlds jet fuel. So now we can’t buy computers OR go anywhere 😅

@Oekolll @TeslaCharging Usually bureaucracy. AFAIK some sites sit fully installed waiting to be connected for years while national grid/local DNO sort their shit out.

@TeslaCharging How is this even possible that we are seeing those outdated V3 stalls? Are those even produced lately?

@TeslaJigsaw @graeme_cobb Paying for that is my only regret. Suckered in by Elon’s promises. £7k in the hole and 4 years later it’s still vapourware.

Tesla is discontinuing one-time Full Self-Driving (FSD) purchases across most of Europe on May 21, 2026. This applies to the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, and several other countries. You’ve got roughly two weeks left to buy FSD outright before the one-time option disappears for good and switches exclusively to a subscription model. Important note: In the Netherlands, the deadline is earlier — one-time FSD purchases end on May 15, 2026.

@graeme_cobb @ghq2001 However it does continue to infuriate me how expensive the fast chargers (150kW+) are in the services. Tesla is the ONLY reasonably priced charging provider. Everyone else is ripping us off and capitalising on monopoly, and people not knowing any better.

@ghq2001 Hey, don’t get angry because cars are powered by electricity and you know nothing about charging, where to get the least expensive charges and how long a rapid charge takes. Just accept they’re here and carry on with your life. You’re literally being triggered by electricity.

Yet more BS from the EV lobby. 54p for slow charge in selected locations if you're happy to waste your life waiting. Rapid or ultra rapid 74-89p. 15 p a mile for an EV. My petrol hybrid costs 11p a mile at £1.50 a litre. You're a fraud.
Colin Walker@colinwalker79

"Public EV charging now cheaper than petrol" EVs already much cheaper for majority who can charge at home - savings can also be enjoyed by those who rely on public charging But Gov can bring public charging costs down further, and lock these savings in thetimes.com/article/b1a578…

@graeme_cobb @YTJustGetATesla My windows license got invalidated because I RMA’d the motherboard 🙄 That was about 3 months ago; I dual boot and just haven’t loaded windows since.

Stupid fucking Microsoft won't let me log into Office apps. Goes through the authenticator and either says I don't have a licence (I do - several) or bounces back to login. Hateful hateful awful Microsoft.

Really hoping my 2018 TV can last as long as possible. The enshittification really hit smart TVs hard the last few years… 😢 Tried using my dad’s TV over xmas and it’s been updated to have “AI” sound and image processing as well as an AI chat bot 🤮

A problem with VCS today in an agentic world is they only store the [mostly] successful history. We should be storing the thousands of branches that were failures; the false starts that didn't solve the problem. The negatives are important and we are just throwing it all away.

One thing we're planning for Ghostty 1.3 is the ability for programs running in the terminal to add their own entries to the command palette. e.g. imagine all Neovim actions being right there in the palette when you run it, programmable by anyone. This will be our first extension to the terminal protocol.
Mitchell Hashimoto@mitchellh

The unexpected winner of Ghostty 1.2 is the command palette. An overwhelming amount of unsolicited positive feedback about that specifically, across macOS and Linux. We'll definitely take that and run with it and improve it. I wonder if other terminals will follow suit.
