An Edmonton city councillor and his team are helping a woman facing intimate partner violence relocate with her children after her address was leaked in an alleged privacy breach by The Centurion Project, an Alberta separatist group. Others are also dealing with the impact.

It’s interesting that our only focus seems to be on what 97 will decide to do, whether that’s this summer or next or whenever. And it’s obviously because he only has a 2-year deal. But I mean, nothing is stopping Leon Draisaitl from asking out one day if that’s what he wanted. Not saying he will nor do I have any feeling he will. But just because he signed an 8-year deal doesn’t mean he will necessarily play it out all in Edmonton.

I warned Elections Alberta about the potential Centurion Initiative data breach on March 31. They did Sweet FA for almost a month. My latest: open.substack.com/pub/theline/p/…

Do you know what is exhausting? People relying on false equivalencies to defend those who made their sensitive personal data public for the entire internet. If anyone else had done it, they would be in the streets demanding arrests. Stop deflecting. Demand accountability #ableg
