Update on Barbas: After two days where things looked grim, the little guy has turned a corner and the vet believes he’ll be able to come home tomorrow! His long-term prognosis is not great, but we always say we want more time with our loved ones and I’ll certainly have that.

@laurenloprete Le Pigalle is excellent. I go there everytime I'm in Paris. Liperli coffee is a 5 min walk with excellent coffee and pastries, and KB is a minute away with really good coffee and pastries too .

I need some strong opinions on hotels in Paris. Currently debating: - Grands Boulevards Experimental - Hôtel National des Arts et Métiers - Le Pigalle Tell me where to stay.

@arielhelwani Liperli Coffee in the 9th is among the best coffee spots I've been to around the world. Ask them if they have any cafe exceptional in the fridge that's not on the menu and they'll be stoked.

Open convention at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Large spectacle, media exposure, pick a candidate that the masses want. It can be done.

@tranhelen Have you read Ministry for the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson? It covers some of the depressive / eventually hopeful eco-take on the same problems of how runaway problems aren't solved until they align with capitalism's goals
