Existing home sales just hit the lowest April level since 2009. Think about how insane that is. Higher inventory. Falling rents. Massive affordability crisis. Builders slashing prices and buying down rates. But the headlines still say: “Housing market remains resilient.” No. The market is frozen.

@jonbrooks This thing is a disaster, but it needs to happen. There is no reason why there should be 100 yr old fixer uppers for 300 k. Those homes should be at 50 k at the most. Encourage young families to come in and invest, fix up these homes.

Not one factory brought home. Not one federal agency, activity or department reined in. NOTHING, so stop with your BS! Mike, that is the path you want us to return to. You call it principle. I call it failure with a flag pin on the lapel. The American people did not drift toward populism. They ran toward it because the alternative was another decade of men like you (@VP45) managing their decline while assuring them it was conservatism. We are done being managed. We are done being lectured. We are done watching Washington Republicans cash out while the country falls apart. There is no time for choosing, Mike. The choice was made (three times to be exact). This is outrageous.. Not a single person on my flight is masked up while we’re in the middle of a double pandemic (Covid + Hantavirus). I politely informed the flight attendant that this is a super spreader event. She just shrugged and walked away. I've already filed a formal complaint with the FAA and CDC. This is reckless and cannot stand. Masks save lives, the science is settled on that.

A new analysis by the National Association of Home Builders found that 71% of Floridians CANNOT AFFORD a newly built home at current prices and mortgage rates... Yet these builders continue to build starter homes at $500,000.... with practically zero lot lines. Who do they think will buy these?!
