Today @abacusdataca turns 15 and I’ve been lucky to be part of 14 of those years. I’ve helped ask better questions, build a great team, and wear many hats (some even fit). I’ve watched us grow from scrappy start-up to shaping the national conversation. Here’s to what’s next!

We are aiming to survey 2,500 eligible voters and are currently at 2,453. Only 30 more minutes until we hit our deadline of 9am. @jonathannadeau has made all of our surveys work this election - coordinating questionnaires, programming, getting things translated, and managing the sample. Team Abacus Data does all of this work in-house. No outsourcing, no internal "cost-centres". This allows for client-centred, high-quality, and quick and response research. I built this capacity specifically and it serves our clients really well.

Elections are often a key test for pollsters. Accuracy in polling helps demonstrate quality in sampling and strong research methodology. Congrats to @DavidColetto, @jonathannadeau and everyone at @abacusdataca on a great result.

We doubled checked and ran another survey Given how these results differ from some recent polls, we conducted a rapid survey with our core political questions from February 11 to 12, 2025 with an entirely new sample to see whether this survey was an outlier or different than what we would find if we did another survey. The results of that survey are all within the margin of error of the earlier survey. It finds the Conservatives with 45%, the Liberals at 25%, and the NDP at 17%.
