@sciortino_tim @Mayhem_is_back @mhdksafa I am a gun owner saying I would happily go through all of this to know that people who shouldn’t have guns can’t easily access them. The most recent shooter wouldn’t have had access if the fire arm hadn’t been purchased legally

@sciortino_tim @Mayhem_is_back @mhdksafa We are 3 months into the year and already 9,800 people have died from gun violence and many more injured and affected by it. We cannot continue to just blame it on the “crazies” reform is detrimental to the function of our society.

@sciortino_tim @Mayhem_is_back @mhdksafa You’re still stuck on “Ban” I’m not advocating for a gun ban. I’m saying we NEED gun licensing with a rigorous (free) training course and intensive background check before owning or operating a gun. Responsible gun owners would comply with this.

Could do to help the crisis we are in but instead they blame it on “mental health” and still do NOTHING in the way of helping people get mental health care or restricting those with known mental issues from buying firearms.

@sciortino_tim @Mayhem_is_back @mhdksafa The Bureau of Trans. Estimates that 2.4-5% of vehicles on the road are unregistered, a very minor percentage. Most people will comply. Metal is health a factor as well, the issue is mental health care still isn’t accessible.
