Every AI system will end up being a Democrat or a Republican, depending on who trains it. There is no way around that. In theory, AI will increase our division because we will come to view our personal AI "god" as the real one.

@bentan__ TSE pushing so hard on improving governance to reduce the number of below 1x book value listings. I do agree though low ROE for a decade should trade below book.... but there are still plenty of examples of 20%+ ROE that trade below book.. Buffett wont be looking at them though.

Buffett has studied the Japan market for >20 years before making a purchase. This comment was made in 1998 on why they don’t invest in Japan.

Warren Buffett buying woke everyone up. The TSE is pushing hard on a corporate governance improvement plan. Trying to address the fact that over 60% of all listed companies trade below book value in japan. Lots of cash hoarding companies may be forced to return to shareholders. Also cross shareholding unwinds encouraged

@Japan_too_cheap no worries. that info came from the Kaga IR team..."Domestic sales of Socionext is handled by Kaga"... Im sure it is less 10% of consolidated sales for Kaga since they are big. Either way its an interesting one to watch!
