✨ To prove my friend @StevieZollo (who's visiting me in Brazil) you don't need an idea, or even a lot of time these days to ship a little app that might make money I took the top idea from IdeasAI.com: "A startup that uses AI to generate personalized bedtime stories for kids based on their interests, family photos, and daily activities, delivered via a voice app. (❤️ 110 likes, 3 days ago)" So I copy pasted it into Claude Code and asked it to build it The first version of course didn't work, and I had to tell it some endpoints didn't work properly but then it fixed it The bedtime stories are generated by @xAI Grok 4.1, then sent to TTS with @GoogleAI Gemini and payment with @Stripe Checkout Total time from start to live: 24 minutes

Bug bounty tip most beginners don't know: Don't hack Google. Don't hack Apple. Don't hack Facebook. Start with small startups on HackerOne that have 0-5 hackers looking at them. Less competition = faster first bounty even public programs. I found my first bug in a program after 1 month full tiem Paid $2500. I took Opus 4.5 Max Mode for the ultimate test. I asked it to search my code base for bugs I took a lot of pride in this code, all hand rolled, by the sweat of my brow. It was mine and it was good. Claude found 15 bugs I was devastated So I went to the first bug, and asked for a unit test. It produced a unit test in mere moments. I ran the tests and saw it. A broken test. Property test of undefined. Rookie error Ashamed, but determined I set forth to fix these bugs as penance. So I cracked open nvim getting ready to edit this typescript script But... The code seemed correct. Weird. So I checked the test, Claude faked bad data. The setup could never happen Wtf It's a lie, the whole thing. I checked every bug Claude found. Every line item was not a bug. Everyone of them just some condition that cannot exist due to asserts or previous if statements What an amazing $3s and 20 minutes spent Normally when I waste time at least I learn something

Having prettier, cursor, vscode issues. Version 12 of the plugin came out hours ago and prettier stopped working for me. The only fix was downgrading to 11 and telling cursor not to do auto updates. The gear icon allows you to install specific version

The first few years of your career are for learning, experimenting, collecting L’s and taking damage. Figuring out what you enjoy and what you don’t. You don’t need to have all the answers, nobody does. Trying to sidestep this discovery process brings you great misery later.
