A biotech company bought 538 acres outside of Houston to raise & sell 43,200 research monkeys. The monkeys sell for ~$60k each! They were $5k pre-Covid. Residents & PETA are fighting it hard, but so is the company. $2.5B isn't chimp change! What a wild business.
