We love Google’s design vision, but let’s be real Pixel devices often feel like paid beta testers for Android.
From battery drain to buggy updates, are we really getting the polished flagship experience we deserve at this price point? Or is Google relying too much on fan loyalty to overlook flaws?
Drop your thoughts: Is Pixel still the true Android experience, or just an expensive experiment?

According to our investigation, the inaccurate battery health readings appear to be related to a CPU awake-loop issue affecting some Pixel devices. This behavior can interfere with system-reported battery statistics, which may cause applications that rely on Android APIs to receive inaccurate battery health information.
We recommend waiting for the upcoming June system update. Once the issue is addressed at the system level, we will further refine and update Pixel Prime's Battery Intelligence engine to ensure the most accurate readings possible.
Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve the experience.
#TeamPixel 🚨 A major Transparency Update for Pixel Prime!

WARNING for all Pixel owners in India☠️
My Pixel 7 Pro was sent to the official Google repair center in Noida for a minor software lag after an March QPR3 update. Before shipping, I took full video proof showing the phone was completely intact, undamaged, and working perfectly.
After inspection, Google declared it had a "Power Failure and Display Problem". They gave me a ridiculous quote of ₹53,000 for a refurbished replacement. I rejected this absurd price because a brand-new Pixel 7 Pro retails for less on the open market. I asked for my phone back in its original condition
When the phone was returned to me, it was completely DESTROYED while in Google's custody, A phone that was operational when shipped was returned completely dead and won't turn on or charge. The physical power button was completely loose and peeled off the chassis the moment I laid it flat so i send mail to Google Support and they confirmed the most unbelievable policy:
"The condition of the device upon return may not be the same as when it was picked up. This is because service engineers disassemble the device for thorough diagnosis, and the dismantling process (e.g., using vacuum instruments) may expand existing cracks..."
To make matters worse, they dragged this out for 2 MONTHS across Case IDs [6-7633000041415] and [0-5567000040040]. A supervisor made me provide 2022 invoice to approve a "free replacement exception"—only to immediately reject it the moment I provided the bill they asked for. Instead, they sent a generic link demanding I pay for the damage THEIR team caused
This is not premium after-sales support.Indian Pixel buyers deserve accountability, not a service ecosystem that destroys your property and forces you to pay for it

@Devz15@madebygoogle is giving sub-par service in India but taking Most highest price when compared to other countries. Entirely different an unacceptable by treatment by @GoogleIndia for indian customers.
🚨 WARNING for all Pixel owners in India. 🚨
My Pixel device was sent to official Google repair. After inspection, Google declared it “not repairable” and gave me only 2 choices:
1️⃣ Pay ₹22,620 for a replacement device
2️⃣ Get the phone returned unrepaired
Now comes the shocking part.
Before taking ₹22k+, Google India REFUSES to disclose:
❌ Which exact device they will send
❌ Whether it’s NEW or REFURBISHED
❌ Battery health details
❌ Water Resistance Rating
❌ Replacement quality standards
❌ Google cannot guarantee battery health percentage
❌ Google cannot guarantee IP/water resistance rating
And in writing, Google Support confirmed:
⚠️ Once payment is made, there is NO refund and NO return — even if you are unhappy with the replacement device quality sent later.
Most shocking part?
Google could not even confirm whether they have any minimum measurable quality standards/policies for refurbished replacement devices:
Battery health %
Water resistance integrity like IP rating
So basically:
Pay first.
Find out later what device you got.
No refund. No choice.
Without transparency, measurable quality benchmarks or refund rights.
This is not premium after-sales support.
This is “trust us after payment.”
Attaching screenshots of Google Support’s own email response.
Indian Pixel buyers deserve transparency before payment, not blind acceptance.
