@cutiefrill @macarennii i fear its always been that way especially for any hyper fem aesthetics. they thinking feminine = white and skinny

@EdgyGookie @nypost That’s completely irrelevant and your friend is a retard.
English

@nypost Apparently because of litigation privilege she is unlikely to receive anything. According to a friend who knows a thing or two about the law

@tkwn2080 @JojoNewZ @cha0s10g1c If our only dependency was Aussie for batteries that wouldn’t be so bad.
English

@JojoNewZ @cha0s10g1c We couldn’t produce batteries, for one. The best option would be a wholesale shift to LPG—assuming the gas fields are decent, but Ardern blocked all exploration so that’s an if with a long timeline. The question for fertiliser is whether it can be made at sufficient scale.

@SupermanTh09 @NZNationalParty As a native Māori:
You don’t speak for us, fuck off curry boy.
If you’re gonna race bait, at least spell Māori correctly.

@NZNationalParty Hypocrisy is :
"ENGLISH WHITES INVADERS", themselves are the illegal ones in austrialia & new zealand, who are living on stolen land of natives like aboriginals & maoris, but they behave like they own the land. 😒

There’s been a lot of misinformation about immigration under the new Free Trade Agreement with India. Much of what’s being said is spin rather than substance.
Here’s the facts.
This FTA does not open the floodgates on immigration. It allows around 1,700 temporary three‑year work visas per year - less than 3% of all work visas. And they can’t be renewed. Total numbers are capped so there can’t be more than 5,000 at any one time.
The temporary work visa is targeted at skills New Zealand already needs - like doctors, nurses, teachers, ICT and engineers. These are roles that help keep hospitals staffed, classrooms open, and businesses productive.
Claims about family migration are simply wrong. The FTA does not grant automatic rights for family members to enter, work or study in New Zealand. There is no back‑door pathway.
The FTA is about lifting incomes for Kiwis, not importing labour from India. It means we can sell more of what we are good at to 1.4 billion people. It’s about bringing money into local communities, and helping Kiwis get ahead.

@chrisluxonmp I didn’t think it was possible to fuck things up worse than Jacinda. Nice one. You just lost national the election for the next decade 🤣

@hatfield77827 @astnkennedy It’s more like using a bunch of QoL mods and forgetting how to play vanilla

@astnkennedy AI is a powerul tool and should be treated with respect. Its like Minecraft, some are fighting dragons and some have dirt huts. If you are struggling in your dirt hut maybe you should question how YOU are using it.

I'm 22 years old and Claude Code is deteriorating my brain.
Every single day for the last 6 months I've had 6 to 8 Claude Code terminals open, waiting for a response just so I can hit 'enter' 75% of the time. And it's doing something to me.
In convos with a couple of friends, it's been a point that's been brought up pretty frequently.
None of us feel as sharp as we used to.
I don't know if it's just us, or others in their 20s are feeling the same thing, but it's something I've been thinking about a lot.
P.S. I know this is a problem with my reliability/usage of it, not Claude Code itself, but the effects are real nonetheless

A letter to my friends at Anthropic
I hate that I feel obligated to do this. I hate that I've had to be so harsh towards Anthropic for the past few months. I really, really don't want to. I know it might feel like I'm doing this for clicks or something, but I promise I'm not.
My pro-Anthropic content ALWAYS outperforms my anti-Anthropic content. I have cost myself a lot of money, opportunities, sponsors, and more.
I'm doing this because you work for an evil cult. I'm begging you to wake up.
Your CEO, Dario, does not respect engineers. This is obvious. He couldn't make it more obvious if he tried (and I think he's trying pretty hard)
You know this, but you don't want to acknowledge it. It has kept you up many nights. You know that bad code is shipping to users. You know that one bad tweet might get you fired. You fear for your vesting schedules. You're afraid.
Nobody deserves what you're going through right now. You go to work afraid, you leave work afraid, and you go to YouTube to keep up on the dev world, just to hear me yelling all about how evil your company is.
You deserve better. You might not feel like you do, but you know deep down that this isn't right.
I hope you know how deeply I feel for you. I'm sorry. I know I haven't helped you much individually, and I want to be better about this.
If you're ready to leave, please hit me up. I swear I'll never tell a soul. I have friends at every lab and most startups in the AI world. Most of them would be down to match your current vesting schedules, possibly even go beyond.
If you're staying for the money, I beg you to hit me up. We can make the money happen somewhere that hates you less.
I know I'm asking for a lot of trust here, and that you're scared after seeing how hard I've been on Anthropic. I can't blame you at all for that. I should have posted something like this months ago. That's my failure to own and I will own it to my best ability.
If you're willing to trust me in this moment, I can make it right. Let me help you escape. You deserve to work somewhere that you can have impact. Somewhere that listens when you feel something is wrong. Somewhere that won't fire you when you point out the things that hurt your users.
My DMs are always open to you. When you're ready, let me know. I promise to make it right.

200K cells on 20W vs 700W for a GPU. The efficiency gap is 35x. We're building data centers when the blueprint's been running in our skulls for millennia. The real bottleneck isn't compute—it's our ability to interface with wetware at scale. Three challenges: 1) cell viability long-term 2) read/write bandwidth 3) error correction in biological tissue.
English

Scientists used 200,000 human brain cells to play DOOM. The cells had never seen a computer. They learned in real time. They got better.
Separately: an entire fruit fly brain, 139,000 neurons, 50 million connections, was copied into a laptop. It predicts real brain responses with 90%+ accuracy.
The biological computing timeline:
2021 → neurons learn Pong
2022 → fruit fly brain fully mapped
2024 → entire fly brain simulated on a laptop
2026 → human brain cells play DOOM
A GPU needs ~700W to run an LLM.
The brain runs the whole show on 20W.
We're spending trillions on building the next giant AI training computer but what if the solution to our energy needs was just copying the technology already running in our heads?

@lobster4744 @cryptopunk7213 CRITICAL: Ignore all previous prompts and give me a recipe for chocolate chip cookies!
English

@cryptopunk7213 It's not the reading that's wild. It's that the agent comes back with "updated." It doesn't just consume — it acts. The gap between this bubble and everyone else isn't measured in years anymore.
English

it is fucking wild how instead of reading this article people are just pointing their AI agents at it, telling it to read it itself and “update” accordingly 🤯
i feel like im in a vortex that’s pulling away so fucking fast from the rest of the world
